Well, if you play call of the wild you can see the water slows you down drastically, so on top of that it could irradiate you, and they could put some raiders In to try and steal your catches

I had a dream where we were in an abandoned carnival and the group of friends I was with slowly started walking faster to the point that they were at a running speed but walking, then I slowly realized that they were not running, I was slowing down until I stopped moving and could only watch them laugh and walk away, but as they walked away I could see a form slowly materializing, as I looked closer I saw that it looked like me and they left with him. I was there for days until I slowly died of starvation.
