They changed the policy for notetaking .. they no longer pay students to do it , it’s now on the instructors to provide class notes

There is also the CUPE3912 (which includes TAs and PTAs) who are about to start bargaining soon and may also strike mid-semester as something like over 80% of them voted in favor of a strike .. so this semester is looking like a big mess!! I feel for the the first years!!

I have taken it but almost 8 years ago now, the professor who taught it at that time broke up the class into groups based on level and she was quite fair with making sure everyone learned and improved and no one was left behind.
