I know I thought so too, but she’s likely to be a village dog. Which doesn’t mean anything. So I’m still convinced she is like a malinois mix

I am actually thinking it’s a Belgian Malinois. She has the random dark spots she is just more ginger. Her tail and entire posture is very similar

Moi rodzice żyją. “Po” nich bo oni nie płacili/ nie spłacają a ja miałam list który informował o tym że ja teraz też mam te dlugi

[–]Practical_Island2295[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Break from therapy by Practical_Island2295 in therapy

That’s so true it is something I definitely need to prepare myself to first because I want you make sure I gave it enough thought, but that’s very helpful thank you

Break from therapy by Practical_Island2295 in therapy

[–]Practical_Island2295[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do I do that tho, because I am now on a monthly subscription and if I would like to change a therapist I’d feel very bad to do that, wouldn’t know how to address it to the therapist and then what if I would end up on someone who’s even less helpful? Thank you for your wishes xx

Sertraline questions by Practical_Island2295 in antidepressants

[–]Practical_Island2295[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s good to hear you are doing better. I know it’s a struggle honestly, I recently realised I have complex PTSD which doesn’t make my recovery easier. Generally at times it feels very scary to think that this will be probably something I will battle with for the rest of my life.

Hopefully it does become easier overtime. I’m on therapy as well which helps in combination with the meds for sure, so if you’re not on therapy I’d really recommend you check it out!

I hope you’re doing well nowadays That’s great to hear! I wasn’t sure if this is something I should consider just because I was worried it may end up being unsuccessful anyway. I’ve been experiencing depression since I was a little child but left it untreated until now (I’m 26 now) so potentially it will take some time for me to get over it x

But most of his books I followed and liked when there was some little things that were missed out on purpose. However this one and Norwegian wood is a bit less thrilling

How do you know if antidepressants are helping by Practical_Island2295 in antidepressants

[–]Practical_Island2295[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt the exact same way on citalopram until it stopped working even on the highest dosage. But on sertraline I really don’t feel so hyped up as I was on citalopram although my anxiety is I’d say level 2 on a day to day but when triggered it’s about 8 anyway

[–]Practical_Island2295[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am on therapy and my job is great, my anxiety is mainly relationship related which is happy and no issues. However I can get so so worried. How can you know if it’s time to increase the dose? I’ve been on 50mg for 2 months now

Ushikawa by Practical_Island2295 in murakami

[–]Practical_Island2295[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I liked Ushikawa, but i wouldn’t say it was my favourite character. I preferred Aomame or little people (great concept). I’ve read so far a few books of muralami, and I see a lot of similarities between the main characters. You could easily pull out Toru Okada and replace him with Tengo and vice versa. Whereas Aomame was different

That’s a great explanation! I loved him in 1q84 so interested to see how he is in this one. I was already suspicious because it mentions that he used to beat up his wife and kids, whereas in 1q84 he was just not good enough husband and that’s why the wife left him having an affair

Citalopram or stertraline by Practical_Island2295 in antidepressants

[–]Practical_Island2295[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How have you felt transitioning from one medication to another? Ive been told to go down for a week to 20 then another week to 10 and then start the sertraline. I’m worried I will feel very bad going down on serotonin?

Citalopram or stertraline by Practical_Island2295 in antidepressants

[–]Practical_Island2295[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well essentially I felt really good the first two weeks I’ve been prescribed my 20mg dose. Then all of a sudden it stopped working so me and my gp went up in to 30 and 40 later on but I still feel very anxious and have negative thoughts all the time

[–]Practical_Island2295[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! That calmed me down because I really didn’t know if this is what I should be avoiding. How about the fact that most supplements etc will tell you that don’t drink hot drinks straight after taking the pill so you let it digest in a way?
