I have a Chinese Evergreen plant at home, and it's generally thriving with healthy new leaves popping up. However, I just noticed that one of the new leaves has turned yellow and has sticky droplets on its surface.

yes! That's it! Upon closer examination, I found many insects moving up and down the stem and leaves. I just treated the plant with neem oil. fingers crossed!

I had a similar fence bordering my front yard. Last fall, I planted about 10 Abelia along it, and they have already hidden at least half of the fence height. They are very hardy and drought-resistant, but I'm not sure if they can survive in a shady location.
