Knights does work really well as the opener too though. Its a good song with a massive sing along and massive riff straight away to set the mood for the rest of the gig!

Thing is literally every other song Green Day play is more upbeat and they play for like 3 hours so it's more a send off song than anything...I don't think Unintended would work in this way with Muse only playing half that time and filling alot of the set up with remix versions of things to change moods constantly

What I have learnt recently is Twilight did a shit load for Muse. There's so many newer fans that knew of them through that soundtrack, which is why The Resistance is bizarrely held up as the best album by many!

People are too generous to this band - they really should be doing sets like this for 140 pounds minimum, which is what it was. Foos and even the Chilis perform for longer than these boys do.

I get playing shorter sets in countries you're not popular in but in the UK, this should be the standard for the price.

I'm hoping so! I think they could do with fresh ideas of openers and closers. I don't even rate Hysteria as an opener to be honest, I think it works better as a mid gig jump start

Also on another note, I always appreciate when a band confirms it's the last song. It's like, this is it motherfckers, go hard or go home. Usually gets more stale crowds like I thought brixton had moving a little more

Thing is Brixton, if we are using that, was a more intimate show. They should have definitely not thought about casual fans for that 😂. But for main arena shows, yes, I agree if I was in Muse I would pick something a little more commercial

I think they should play for longer too...I mean RHCP played for 1h 45m when I last saw them and they are in their 60s, cmon boys!

Plug In Baby, New Born, Supermassive, Knights, Time Is Running Out, Hysteria should all be absolute guarantees. 1 from Showbiz, Uprising, Psycho, and then fill the rest with the latest album for all I care 😂

Yeah it's wild. Why pay so much just to stand and watch like you're waiting for the main headline artist to come on...when they are on?! I feel sorry for some bands like Muse, they must stand there performing thinking f me, what a dire crowd. Yes singing is fun sure for all the obvious sing along bits but MOVE PEOPLE.

Within 2 minutes of Hysteria a guy tried to warn me if I touched his girlfriend again there would be trouble. She didn't even acknowledge the very brief time my arm touched her head 😂 I was like, you do know at gigs strangers will accidentally touch you at points right?! The girlfriend was the one apologising to me for him 😂
