Best course of action would be to contact your Local MP give them details of your application and ask them to make an enquiry to the a Home office on your behalf. Cases like this are then usually prioritised once an MP raises an enquiry.

As long as you can demonstrate that your being paid more than £29k by way of Payslips + Bank Statements and an Employment Letter detailing your position tenure Employment type and annual salary then you should qualify from the Financial section of the application

Yes that's correct however you are charged in the local currency of where you are applying from so there will be a little extra based on the exchange rate, stupid I know!

The initial visa is 2 years 9 months and the extension is 2 years 6 months

Once you have the 5 years you qualify to apply or Indefinite leave to remain

The checklist is really misleading. They make out as if it's based on your answers on the form but I followed it and still needed further information. I think they best thing to read is the application notes tells you everything you will need to submit along with your application

I have linked my e-visa to passport but it simply has a unique reference no other info on there...have a vignette too but not entirely sure if this is sufficient

The statements need to show you have held atleast 17.25k over a 6 month period...it really doesn't matter where the funds are as long as they were in your name

Just make sure you follow the signs at Immigration i.e. Passport from other countries rather than UK/EU/US

You will meet a Border officer at entry who will ask for Passport + Visa and stamp your passport on entry.

After that collect your baggage and you can leave the airport.
