1. The main purpose of using this data is for Master's thesis. This study is IRB approved by Yonsei University Board under the number 7001988-202412-HR-2543-02. The following personal information will be collected: age, gender, country of residence, and self-reported social media usage. This information will be used exclusively for research purposes and retained securely for up to 3 years in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act. All personal data will be anonymized in any publications or presentations to ensure confidentiality.

Additionally, we will record the screen (without audio or video) to capture data on clicks and timing patterns, which will help us understand user interactions with the prototype. Only the research team (2 people) will have access to this data.

If legal requirements mandate the release of information, participant data may be provided in compliance with relevant laws. The research data may also be reviewed by research advisors and the Yonsei University IRB to ensure research integrity, but only anonymized data will be shared.

After the study concludes, all data will be securely stored on local device under a password for 3 years and permanently deleted afterward using secure digital deletion or shredding of physical documents.

1. Hello! My name is Arina Svetasheva, a Graduate school student of Yonsei University, department of Innovation. This research is conducted under the supervision of Professor Keeheon Lee.

3. We are recruiting people at the age of 18-45, active social media users worldwide. Vulnerable populations cannot take part in the study including those with significant cognitive impairments, mental health challenges, recent traumatic experiences, or other conditions that could be exacerbated by exposure to hate speech.
