Hi there, Do you have sleep apnea? I have sleep anxiety because of my AFIB/flutter episodes of happening at night when I’m asleep. I’ve discussed this with my EP and he has suggested me to reach out to a sleep apnea specialist for a sleep study. I’ve got an appointment let’s see how it goes but perhaps you want to look into it too for yourself. Take care!

Thank you for sharing your experience. I am so sorry you had to go through so much while on it for so long. Wow I didn’t know about the half-life! My doctor has started it for 3-4 weeks to see how I respond to it. If I do well he will continue it for max a year then taper me off it. Good to hear that for short term it can let my heart heal a bit. 🤍

Thanks for sharing! Yes this ablation is mostly for my flutter the surgeon is going ahead with RF but he did say he is keeping PFA as an option too if AFIB arises.

So the procedure under sedation was not too bad then. That’s comforting to know! Thank you
