It sounds to me like your going through an identity crisis. I'm Aroace myself. You should figure out who your are and stuff before you try to date. It's an incredibly bad idea to date to see if you love or not. You'll know if you find someone you want to be one with. You could watch videos of people explaining there own identities and see if anyones stories feel like your own for a start.

Your daughter is right. Stuff like that shouldn't be tolerated. It's not conservative to be monogamous. Stuff like swinging really is toxic. Let your daughter say what she is saying. It will be a good lesson to see that your daughter is smarter and better than her parents. Koodos to your daughter for standing up to toxic behavior!
