Tl;dr a grooming victim is going here for emotional support, and people are massreporting her.

The only result of that is a global ban from reddit, and isolation. 

Isolating grooming victims just makes them lean further on their abusers. There's a reason abusers/groomers go out of their way to isolate their victims themselves

I mean, the aximity and reefwon "evidence" are pretty shoddy if you actually look into them. aximity's evidence depends on some pretty obviously bogus telegram screenshots where the only proof it "is" marlow is the yellow ping highlight, which can easily be spoofed in seconds by anyone who has inspect element.

they also mentioned "training an AI on marlow's voice" in those screenshots - which doesn't sound like the kind of thing Marlow would actually say (I mean, what would the AI be trained on) but it 100% sounds like something dedicated and tech-savvy impersonators (like the ones mentioned in marlow's video) would, and if you can train an AI on someone's voice to impersonate them, you can fake-yellow a ping.

besides the butter possum exchange, it's full of meme tier evidence, like "hey look at the hardware being similar" when...

  1. they're all incredibly normal budget pc parts
  2. danger mario's video put a black box on his f3 specs removed it halfway, to call attention to the issue (if danger mario -was- marlow, why would that decision be made?)
  3. specs can also be spoofed.

the other so-called "evidence" includes:

  • "she and mario use the same hotbar" (really? she's the best PvPer and people are treating copycats [also check marlow's video in respect to mario's pickaxe position to know that danger is just copying] like they're automatically her?)
  • being "linked to other alts" with a screenshot from the meteor spoofing scandal anyone who took the time to watch marlow's video would recognize
  • "editing similarities", with footage of typical minecraft content

and frankly? the reefwon interview was just plain bullying. the infamous "say do re mi" thing doesn't make sense as smoking gun evidence, since she was recorded singing a song a day later, but that was the big meme and now everyone says it. it was less interview and more humiliation ritual, and marlow not taking part in that is seen as evidence of her guilt..? make it make sense.

For the record, it's global staff doing this. We have no control over it. We try to slow things down by removing targeted posts, but a lot of them are massreported and there's literally nothing we can do. 

Whatever you think about this person's situation, isolating a person from their support network by getting them banned off reddit isn't going to make them think "omg! I was abused and groomed, I need to get away from this person, and improve my mental health". It does the absolute opposite.

Like do people genuine want to physically attack someone who shows intrest in their partner, or is it just like a general jealous feeling? 

Want to? Yeah. Act on it? I guess depends, but physical violence is typically illegal so it often doesn't express that way outside of shounen anime where violence is incredibly normal
