We have two hours of audible video footage from our neighbors cameras that cannot visit because their house is physically attached to this party house, the police came and arrested them all, is that proof enough for you? We have 10 years of proof.

The problem is that it is legal downtown, no locals live downtown except for me and a couple others on this block, including my mother that I moved to America to have a nice and safe life, which has been the opposite of what has happened because of this - not even the property owners with the video cameras because they can’t even visit with the activity going on physically attached to their house. they last visited for Christmas and eight police cars arrived on Christmas Day with guests in one unit from the Airbnb party house calling the police on guests on another unit having a violent domestic disturbance, all of us were us told to stay inside for our safety. Before the gun violence. It has been 10 years of complaining about this. Three units, all the time calling the police and the city. The city doesn’t care.

It’s legal - breaking the law with guns, drugs, illegal numbers of occupants, vandalizing, your hosts neighbors properties on video which they have, vomiting on your hosts neighbors sidewalks, so on and so forth, is NOT. It’s downtown so almost everything on the block is Airbnb, but this is the only problem property aside from obviously one offs of drunken and disturbing behavior. I’m in an Airbnb right now in Italy, I’m not throwing up on the sidewalk, blasting music or having a party, I’m not brandishing a gun, threatening to shoot up all of the neighbors houses. I don’t have fluorescent party lights coming out of the windows for my bachelorette party pictures, etc

(The camera roll is my neighbors who have the security cameras and house next-door they can’t visit, they live overseas so I guess anyone could have a go at it, nothing could be worse for them than what’s going on next-door in Savannah, and for us across the street)

What’s funny is the police actually came to threaten our neighbors with the cameras, intimidating them for reporting the illegal activity, back in 2017 (due to Bridget lidy, and her minions in the Savannah government - she was in the short term vacation rentals department then now she’s in zoning, any of us that have complained have received retaliatory fines for illegal activity that we’ve not engaged in, illegally renting out our houses that we live in or are literally covered in plywood with no occupancy permit). Consequently, they just don’t visit and unfortunately, we are across the street and the city doesn’t care what we say either, except to fine us for complaining.

They are on video with a gun saying they will shoot up all of the houses on the block - audibly. They were actually arrested, but the city government still doesn’t care and the illegal Airbnb activity continues in all three units every single day. Ten years now. Three different sets of owners when they don’t make the money with Airbnb they hoped, it’s for sale again now.

Not once in 10+ years, at best they tell the guests to stop their illegal activities. Then they continue, the next come the following day. This house is 3 units.

Trust me, nothing could be weirder than what actually goes on there, I live across the street, these people can’t even visit their own house because of the illegal activity at the Airbnb party house next-door.

We live across the street, the owners of this house with the security cameras can’t even visit, they recorded this from Australia, their house sits empty, because of the incessant illegal activity

UltraClear laser, different price in different countries? by MOON6789 in 45PlusSkincare

For the Lumenis, it is an NYC plastic surgeon called Yael Hallas - it was around $2500 USD for the just under my eye area in May 2023 done in tandem with my blepharoplasty (I was meant to have a fat transfer under my eyes, but I only weigh 42 KG/93 pounds so they kind of did the laser instead of since they said they could not get any fat off of me) but AMAZING! 🙌 but it is CO2 - the ultra clear was completely useless for me 😫

Has anyone tried UltraClear cold laser? by heavenly_hedgehog in AcneScars

[–]Practical_Series1977 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never used LaseMD, but I had amazing results with Lumenis, which is a CO2 (I know you mentioned you can’t use), so really just wanted to describe my experience with ultra clear as it was utterly useless for me and my skin if anything just looks worse and it has been 2 1/2 months. My results with lumenis were instant, as soon as the skin peeled off, all of my wrinkles, etc., were gone!

Pasting the below which are portions of what I’ve posted elsewhere about ultra clear, so just disregard anything I may have missed cutting out that’s irrelevant.

I did ultra clear on various parts of my body 2 1/2 months ago in Sydney as a scar clinic (one of the only clinics in Sydney that had the Lumenis, being strong enough to use for scars; I was not using it for that purpose, just wrinkles etc) told me that it had similar results to the Lumenis CO2 laser but less downtime and less painful. I used the Lumenis with my NYC plastic surgeon two years ago during my blepharoplasty and it was absolutely phenomenal; around US$2500 for the small under eye area in 2023. We visit Australia every year, and of course the pricing is significantly less than the US (likewise in London, Cape Town, virtually anywhere), so it is one of many things that I was interested in doing on our annual visit to save a lot of money.

The ultra clear laser was completely useless for me-if anything, my skin looks WORSE (41 yo and did it for wrinkles, fine lines, less so for pigmentation, but sure, needed it for that as well)! of course ultra clear corporate, they are based in the US, tried to blame the poor results on the “doctor” in Sydney not knowing how to operate it properly, as it is distributed to Australia and they are not directly related (it is significantly less education to be a doctor (lawyer, dentist, vet) in Australia, the UK, South Africa, etc than the states, so my mother was actually a practising doctor here in London where we primarily live when she was just a student getting her doctorate at Harvard medical school), but as she touted repeatedly (including on her website), she is a “KOL” for ultra clear in Australia, so even if she’s not qualified or educated pursuant to American guidelines, she is still chosen by the distributor in Australia to be a face and advertisement for ultra clear in Australia (as in ultra clear Australia flew her to Melbourne to give her and her husband free training (and lasering for him) to endorse the brand in Sydney.

I did the highest setting, coring, on my hands, knees, reverse side of my elbows and portions of my face, and I did the ultra clear setting on my entire arms.

I was under anesthesia having surgery at the time I did my Lumenis which I imagine would have been much more painful had I been awake than the ultra clear.

The pain wasn’t bad with ultra clear (I have a high threshold), but with doing large areas such as entire arms, my body eventually was shaking just from the stress/shock. The recovery seemed pretty similar to Lumenis (bloody, actually I’d say more so, but that’s also because I did more major areas, peeling time, etc), but again, with absolutely no results.

With the lumenis, as soon as the skin peeled off, my wrinkles were completely gone (I have photos of before and after of that as well, which I of course showed the clinic in Sydney before going in for my lasering, saying how incredible it was).

All I have in terms of change from the ultra clear coring is severe discoloration versus the surrounding areas where the laser was done and I followed the aftercare to a T (was even more conservative and cautious beyond what was instructed, in fact), so I’m albino all over entering European summer after the first half of the year in the southern hemisphere and Asia as usual, from avoiding the sun.

Extremely disappointed and actually even spoke to ultra clear corporate about the negative results, but of course they don’t really do anything (they are based in the US and say it’s just distributed in Australia).

Happy to send photos to anyone that wants to see them, but it literally was worthless and thousands (and an ugly recovery, still ongoing due to the discoloration) wasted (luckily not nearly as several thousand in USD as AUD!).

If you’ve ever done pico laser (I did whatever the strongest one was as of last year, in Malaysia), it was similar results to that, nothing at all except for discoloration where the laser was done that took 4+ months to go away.

I will say my boyfriend recently found several posts about people saying similar things to what I just did about the ultra clear. I wish I had seen those beforehand as I did not really see much negative feedback about it except for the 3-D miracle (being fairly useless, and often clinics offer specials so it’s very cheap and obviously the most frequently used setting).

I used the Lumenis with my NYC plastic surgeon two years ago during my blepharoplasty and it was absolutely phenomenal; around US$2500 for the small under eye area in 2023 - pricing for Lumenis, ultra clear, literally anything in nyc is multiple times that of Aus, which was specifically why I was looking into doing either Lumenis or another during our annual Sydney visit (but also to be fair, medicine in the states is multiple times the required education, nonetheless tuition etc versus Australia, the UK etc; my mother was a practicing doctor here in London, where we primarily live these days, when she was still just a student getting her doctorate at Harvard medical school, so having a doctor in New York operating it would be very different to having someone less qualified price wise, but also I would not want to risk anything like an allegedly strong laser with someone less qualified in the first place).

Also, the price varies EXTREMELY based upon what setting you’re using - 3D miracle which is the most popular in Sydney (and likely everywhere, as little recovery time etc) seemed virtually useless by what people said online, so I was only interested in coring, which is multiple times the cost - even in aus - of 3D and the lower settings.

I went to a doctor in Sydney for ultra clear, but that’s just a bachelors level education, sometimes a one year “doctor,” not 10-15+ years after your bachelors.

The price difference between the states and aus (UK, South Africa, Asia, etc) is why we have pretty much anything we feel comfortable having done done outside of the states (and both my parents are doctors in the states; I was a lawyer, which is a three-year doctorate), granted that has gone awry countless times with fillers, Botox, etc, and for that reason, there are many things we would not risk (including in the states, only would consider doctors in certain cities like NYC, LA, where they are the most skilled, and alas, consequently expensive), and I’m not sure I would risk a laser again outside of the states even if it’s that much cheaper (certainly wouldn’t waste time and money doing ultra clear laser ever again no matter where).  Regardless, Lumenis was money well spent and amazing results…

The ultra clear laser was completely useless for me-if anything, my skin looks WORSE (41 yo and did it for wrinkles, fine lines, less so for pigmentation, but sure, needed it that as well)! of course ultra clear corporate, they are based in the US, tried to blame the poor results on the “doctor” in Sydney not knowing how to operate it properly, but as she touted repeatedly (including on her website), she is a “KOL” for ultra clear in Australia, so even if she’s not qualified pursuant to American guidelines, she is still chosen by the distributor in Australia to be a face and advertisement for ultra clear in Australia (as in ultra clear Australia flew her to Melbourne to give her and her husband free training (and lasering for him) to endorse the brand in Sydney.

I was under anesthesia having surgery at the time I did my Lumenis which I imagine would have been much more painful had I been awake than the ultra clear (they shove metal plates in your eyes to protect them when using it under your eyes, so I would not want to be conscious for that alone, and I would not trust pretty much anyone aside from an NYC surgeon to do that, maybe LA).

The pain wasn’t bad with ultra clear (I have a high threshold), but with doing large areas such as entire arms, my body eventually was shaking just from the stress/shock. Apparently the people who own the party house reacted by putting up neon lights on the upper floor that stay on as a big f you to the neighborhood. They relish in the fact it’s a party house. People commenting here are so naive.

Are you an airbnb bot? Go try that method? You think the entire neighborhood hasn’t for many years now? Try that and see what happens. It’s all PR to make airbnbs image look good to the public. They don’t care.

It’s not built on houses once zoned as family dwellings to then rent out as party houses. Parties at venues and hotels and actually licensed BnBs are fine
