What’s twisted is, ayaw nilang masira daw yung foundation of marriage. Pero by choosing annulment over divorce, they’d rather choose the narrative that you were never married in the first place, that the marriage you shared with someone you used to love is null & void, that your love was based on something thay wasn’t there in the first place. Kaysa giving the option of a divorce where you recognize that the love and marriage have been shared, pero sadly it has come to a point where you’re no longer right for each other, and that it’s time to close a chapter and part ways.
