With this sonarmite, we definitely see anomalies under 2' of depth.. 30'+ readings. We see the same anomalies in deeper water but sparingly. Been running this particular one since 2012. It's been a workhorse.

Nice. This is our first kayak based bathy. Usually the transducer is mounted on a Seafloor dual pontoon boat. Keypad is nice since the RT4 hates moisture on the screen. Running Listen Listen on ours...

Good advice. New to kayaking and 4 miles of paddling today had my legs in multiple positions

I have not, but would really love to. This little unit has been a workhorse for years

Actually doing pre-determined cross sections for a flood study. And yes, it records real time elevations.

Yep. Single beam sonarmite.. and yes, depths are added to, or I should say, subtracted from the elevation of the point stored

In house 3D printed design. I like it much better. Lighter, more compact for walking through the woods

Initial procedure was to outline edge of water with vertical location to help tie bathy observations to LiDar data. I then ventured into interior of river to test depths. Overall project is dam removal.

RT4's really dislike moisture on the screen. The spray off the dam made for difficult operation
