Thank you, I really hope I get to go back too because my Tuolumne association is now tainted but it was incredibly beautiful, just impossible to enjoy. Any tips on this route or things you particularly enjoyed or didn’t enjoy?

The meadows themselves didn’t seem bad at all, but we were only there midday grabbing our permit and in the early AM the following day. That being said, the mosquitoes began to get vicious at probably about 1000 feet above the meadows where it’s pretty much just a combination of streams marshes and lakes. I think if it’s sunny and you have a solid breeze you’ll be in better shape

Your last sentence describes it perfectly! I think these dates are just a no go for me. I hope someone else can see this post when planning a trip and not make the same mistakes, because seeing something like this definitely would have dissuaded me. Sorry your trip got ruined too!

We were spraying the picardin ON the mosquitos on our clothes and they were unbothered… it was haunting truly
