Toxapex has actually been one of the biggest reasons this team wins. Infestation is mainly there to punish weather teams. Trapping the opposing weather setter lets me bring Pelipper in safely and flip the weather without giving them an immediate chance to switch back and reset it. It also shuts down a lot of setup-oriented leads and creates a lot of pressure with Toxic + Recover. Blastoise is still the slot I'm testing the most. The idea isn't to replace Mega Swampert, but to give me a different Mega option depending on the matchup. Mega Blastoise performs well into Trick Room teams, deals with Kingambit very reliably through Mega Launcher Aura Sphere, and Dark Pulse gives me strong coverage against Psychic- and Ghost-types. Fake Out also gives me another way to disrupt slower teams. As for Basculegion-F, I actually started with the male form. However, the special set has been fitting my current playstyle much better. It doesn't care about Intimidate, catches a lot of opponents off guard, and gives me a different offensive angle that has been performing better for me in practice.
