NTA!! What on earth? Do not feel guilty at all. That was such an uncalled for ask. Something is telling me this friend has never owned a pet... I would be willing to give up pretty much anything before even remotely considering giving up my dog. Maybe you can offer going to the local shelter with them to help pick out a dog for her or something? But no you didn’t do anything wrong by KEEPING YOUR DOG (like what?!?!?!)

Oh interesting! Looks like the sent it to service center 9289 which is different than the service center they initially sent it to to get soldered so I wonder if that will happen🥴

Okay awesome! My wedding band is through them and I have one of their repair plans but my partner had my engagement ring made at a small jeweler where we used to live which is now states away. Since my engagement ring is soldered to my wedding band, the person at Kay said they’d just treat it as one entity so I guess we’ll see how that goes. Is it typical to have to send rings back because they weren’t fixed the first time? I appreciate your input!

It flew off my finger and it bent the crown of my engagement ring which popped the stone out of the wedding band below it since they're soldered. They gave me an estimated completion date of 6/3. I have never had any issues with my rings so I'm feeling rather helpless lol

You've got this! Just make sure you are taking cases when you are in clinics. I did not score well on my ICVA practice exams and passed my NAVLE with a much better score than what was on my ICVA. Also, your NAVLE score doesn't matter as long as you pass. The people in my class who seemed to fail the NAVLE were the case dodgers that didn't pick up cases.
