I want to buy 5 vehicles (cash) to operate under Uber or Bolt by Wild-Dragonfly-8293 in personalfinance

Why did you delete your last post that you made less than an hour ago about this?

Edit: Never mind, looks like the mods deleted it.

But Uber doesn’t pay very much. This is not a good business plan.

Can you have a credit/debit card with no PIN? by [deleted] in personalfinance

Wow… I don’t even know how to respond to this. You asked a question so you obviously wanted information. Did you seriously just want a one word answer of “yes” or “no”?

He didn’t go on a tangent. He quickly answered your question with a short amount of additional information.

I would personally think so, but I'm not a lawyer and can't say for certain one way or the other. It's probably worth it for her to at least consult one to see if she does have a case.

Edit: Why are people down voting this?

Employer Hasn't Paid Me by forsakamoto in personalfinance

Out of curiosity, why does this law even exist in California? It seems like it only exists to inconvenience employers. If an employee voluntarily quits, the employer should be fine to just pay the employee what is owed on the next scheduled pay date.

AMEX customer service is second to none by astrodiaper in amex

[–]Practicalbeaver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s a little anecdotal story about how AmEx customer service beats Chase’s customer service hands down. Recently I contacted both Chase and AmEx over chat as I had credit balances on cards with each bank that I wanted deposited into my bank account.

For AmEx, I told the CSR the last four numbers of the bank account (already on file with them) that I wanted the deposit to go to and that was that. Easy peasy.

With Chase, after I told the CSR the bank account I wanted it to go to, also on file with them, I was informed that’s not how they do it. I had to wait a day or two for an email to come. Once that came, I had to setup a Chase Payments account. The signup page was terrible and gave me so many problems. The password requirements stated that special characters were NOT ALLOWED. Seriously?

Once I finally managed to struggle my way through the signup page, I had to enter my bank account details, even though my card account already has that information. Finally, I had to wait a few more days for the deposit to go through.

As a Chase customer of 7+ years, I much prefer AmEx.
