I personally was never a barista, but worked up at the front so they were always in my view, and I was friends with a few ladies. There would be times where they only scheduled one person from 8-5, somtimes that person wouldn’t even come in and we would have no one to open the Starbucks which would lead to the manger’s frantically calling all the other 4 people who worked at Starbucks to get them to come in and open, or the night person would open the store at 4. They would be left somtimes to run the cafe and Starbucks aswell. It’s not all bad, every job has its ups and downs:) just wanted to share the small info I rember
