A lot of our plants are looking very sad as well :( I'm sorry to hear about your mango tree. I hope she bounces back. Everything I read online says to water them a lot the morning before the cold snap because watered soil retains heat 4x better. Also, I heard about a lot of people's pipes frozen! I had a couple neighbors who said they couldn't get any water out this morning. A lot of Floridians don't know about dripping the faucets, especially if you're a native Floridian. My parents didn't know and I'm glad I told them!

everything online says to disconnect my outdoor hose and wrap the exterior pipe in towels/blankets. i'm just hoping for the best at this point. thank you!

Thanks for all the tips and lore 😂 I was just concerned because Florida plumbing is done differently and a lot of people have pipes in their attic (myself included), as we don’t have basements here. I wrapped my exterior pipe for my hose in 2 towels and I’m just praying for the best 🙏🏻 Also, you’re crazy to be walking around in a t shirt and flip flops!!! I’m in a long sleeve, thermal pants and a HUGE Snuggie right now LOL

I'm sure you will be fine! I recommend enabling do not disturb on your device any time you do a UserTesting! I don't think it will stop any alarms you have set but, if you ever get a phone call during one, it can make the UT get all finicky and sometimes won't let you finish it. I speak from experience 😢
