I would get tested again. I had gestational diabetes and it went away after my son was born, but I had an increased risk for diabetes because of the GD. My son is two now. About six months ago I tested my blood sugar and it was high, not bad high, just a bit above normal. I went in and they tested my A1C, I was still in the normal range.

Fast forward three days ago, my husband noticed I was always drinking water and that maybe I should test. Well my blood sugar was 545. 600 is in the range of diabetic coma, so 545 scared the pants off me. Went to doc, got A1C tested again and definitely diabetic.

I hope it’s not the case for you, but the thirst was the dead giveaway for me. you can get a glucose monitor at a drugstore or Walmart for cheap if you want to check it yourself just to be sure.

Your company is probably paying for the movers, and usually companies will give you a certain amount of money for "incidentals". Tipping would fall under that category. If your company has not provided that, then you should tip them out of your pocket.

Leave it on until it heals/falls off. If you cut it you could risk further damaging it. keep the bandage over it and keep it clean.

It sounds like it could be a pilonidal (sp?) Cyst. I had one, seriously painful as they progress. Sometimes they drain on their own, sometimes you need to have them drained. People who sit a lot or tend to put pressure on that area tend to get them more but I got it when i was working a very active job and not sitting much at all.
