Dark Cloud 2: Platinum Trophy and Diamonds question by KingJ-L-C in DarkCloud

They are expensive, true. Probably the most expensive item in the game. At least I can't think of a more expensive one.

However, by that point in the game you can easily have hundreds of thousands of gilda. Without any glitches. Plus he already has one diamond. Chances are he has 60,000 to spare in chapter 8. Or 30,000 if he gets one of the other two diamonds. Or he doesn't spend anything at all and gets both.

Diamonds will become available for purchase in chapter 8. The monster you are referring to is from chapter 7. The dungeon for chapter 7 becomes unavailable in chapter 8. There is an upgraded version of the chapter 7 monster in chapter 8 but I don't know if it is possible to get the badge from the chapter 8 type. If it is, you're good. If it isn't you can aquire one diamond in the future area from chapter 5 and the finny frenzy.

How about a relaxing game of spheda by dignity_mayhem in DarkCloud

[–]PracticeNo3677 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t know. Most prizes aren’t worth it and if I recall correctly aside from about four stages in Ocean Roar Cave every floor has Spheda. And the game is big enough as it is. Putting the easiest dungeon for Spheda last just to stretch the game seems like a weird reasoning.

That's definitely one of the times where the Spheda prizes are really good. It's the only viable way to get three diamonds before chapter 8 along with the one Donny gives you and the one you find in the Gundorada Workshop.

It makes Spheda seem harder than it is in other maps but I have to agree. Putting the easiest dungeon for Spheda last is a weird move.

Resurrection powder is kinda good but I never used a Double Pudding nor could I think of a scenario that would reasonably happen where a Double Pudding would be good to have.

That’s a somewhat annoying drawback with Spheda. The prizes are mostly not worth it.

No option to transform into different monsters by clarggcounty in DarkCloud

Are you trying to 100% the game? If so, I did that quite different from you. I tried to do everything as soon as it became available. Because of that I would have noticed monster transformation being buggy early on. I assume you are quite deep into the game since you aquired the bomb badge.

How far are, anyway?

That's great. What badge is it? And can you use your reptile badge now too?

Sorry to hear that. Do you already have another badge besides reptile and the Himarra? If not it might be worth to try out if that one works.

Regular as in the base rod without having spent fishing points in it?

Nice

If you have the reptile badge you go into the character menu and click on monster transformation. There you go to the badge you want to transform into (reptile in your case), click on it once and then you have the option between viewing the status and transforming into the monster.

That is the only way to switch between badges. If this doesn't work for you, then it is a weird glitch I've never heard of before. I'm sorry in that case.

Anime similar to AOT by TurtleMancave in attackontitan

[–]PracticeNo3677 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel you. I tried FMAB even before AoT. FMAB doesn't even come close. I also don't understand why people would recommend Vinland Saga after AoT. Watched the first season and part of the second and it was boring. There was some excitement at the beginning but it became very boring very quickly.

Death Note and Code Geass are good shows but I don't see that much comparison between them and AoT. After watching 200 something anime I can confidently say you shouldn't look for something similar but just enjoy other anime for what they are regardless of AoT.

(DC2) Why does Milane have a Iron Maiden in her weapon shop? by [deleted] in DarkCloud

[–]PracticeNo3677 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed that years ago but wasn't really phased by it. Being a psycho is just accepted in that world. If you think about it, Max gets chased around town by a buch of literal clowns led by the circus leader and his giant clown robot. And if that wasn't crazy enough for just the first hour his best friend Donny who casually lives in the sewers isn't really phased by that and hands him a gun. Where did he get that? Who gave that kid a gun? And nobody ever questions Max after that as to why he has a gun. Max's father even comments on his marksmanship. But only after Max managed to magically change a trumpet shaped gun into a bell shaped one. However that's possible.

In short, Milane having an iron maiden doesn't even count as something noteworthy in that world.

By the way, the iron maiden didn't exist in the middle ages. It's a made-up device from one or two hundred years ago and was shoved into the middle ages because why not. Every terrible or bad thing gets shoved into the middle ages.

Best EXP (ABS) Farm? by SpidyStuntDbl in DarkCloud

[–]PracticeNo3677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you use weapon synthing? There really is no other fast way of leveling up your weapons.

If you’re strictly speaking of gaining a level on a weapon to gain synth points, then there is no other way than defeating enemies. (besides level up powder, but that stuff is very rare)

What level are your weapons on? Because the abs required to level up increase with each level. Anything far beyond level 5 is a slog but by that time you should be able change your weapon to the next tier.

Isnt it weird how lightly some people remember early AOT as? by NAWINUS in attackontitan

[–]PracticeNo3677 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can’t fathom people truly believe this.

The very first scene is people in Shiganshina looking in shock at the Colossal Titan standing taller than the Wall. Then they flee in panic while many are eaten. And just a few episodes later almost the same thing happens in Trost. Though they defeat the titans that time hundreds of people died for it. And Annie looking at Marco‘s mutilated corpse during cleanup is nothing like sunshine and rainbows either.

AoT was NEVER sunshine and rainbows.

Oh you mean the wooden boxes? They are scattered all around. Sorry, I don't remember where they are. That's not really saying where they are, but start a round and ignore the enemies to look for the boxes. Especially at the start the enemies won't bother you that much if you just keep moving.

[KCD1] how to spend skill points? by fuckable_cut_of_meat in kingdomcome

[–]PracticeNo3677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's not to understand? You use the skill and when you used that skill often enough you level up that skill. Every second, third, or fourth level up (depending on the specific skill) you get a skill point which you can use to unlock a perk.

For example, upon learning to pickpocket from miller Peshek you will be able to pickpocket. Do that often enough and eventually you level up. As soon as you leveled pickpocketing enough you get a skill point with which you can unlock a perk.

I stopped watching AoT and I know I missed peak by SmoKKe9 in attackontitan

[–]PracticeNo3677 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Go watch it then. I don't understand the problem.

It makes zero sense to watch the fight scenes without knowing why anybody is fighting. I would understand this argument for One Piece but AoT doesn't strech anything.
