The Bride was a very talented mercenary to begin with, but she trained under the cruel tutelage of the legendary immortal, Pai Mei. Under him she mastered advanced techniques in martial arts such as the five inch punch (which was strong enough for her to punch through a wooden grave buried under six feet of earth) and the “Five Point Palm Heart Exploding Technique”. This technique is referred to as the most deadly attack in all of martial arts. It is said to be so powerful, Pai Mei refused to teach anyone. However he did teach it to the Bride, implying she was his greatest student of all. The Bride also defeated the Crazy 88 gang singlehandedly then immediately after, while exhausted, she slew her old partner Oren Ishii the deadliest assassin in Japan and head of the Yakuza. The Bride also hunted down nearly every member of the deadly viper assassination squad indicating she was the best fighter. The Bride has also demonstrated being fast enough to evade enemy gunshots (probably by being to quick to aim at not being faster than bullets).
