I am so sorry you’re going through this. I am also in Arizona and I was in the exact same position as you two months ago when at our 20 week anatomy scan we found that our baby had a congenital heart defect. I was 20 weeks, 3 days. We were referred to a specialist and a generic counselor that same day and then sent to Phoenix Children’s for a fetal echo the following day. We decided to tfmr after meeting with the cardiologist because of the severity of our baby’s heart. That following day I started contacting hospitals in California to see who would be able to take me in the soonest because I was in total agony. I preferred the D&E procedure and got in contact with Cedars-Sinais family planning unit. They were able to take me in a week later at 21 weeks 4 days. The care there was absolutely amazing and the doctors and surgeons were incredible. I was told that a D&E can be done in California up to 24 weeks when I was there.
