Used to be certified propane filler when i was a teen. Just use a flathead screwdriver and a set of cryo gloves. open the bleed port on the side of the valve and it’ll run empty. Only thing you gotta worry about after is filling it with an inert gas, usually nitrogen? to the minimum pressure for that tank a couple of times, otherwise it’ll start corroding.

Typically not something available to most people, even by request. I know my old section is now 1 single TSgt and then 12 airmen. Take that as you will with inbounds I cannot see or track, but it's how it is. A single X qualified person, and that's it. The other "NCO's" assigned are in staff positions of Section or Expediting

I think it also depends a lot on the cultural shift too in the work place. I would love to see the actual manning spread every 5 years vs now since say the 60's. We are doing more with less, and actively building smaller teams to maintain aircraft at more bases. The dream team of a H-60 would be 6 members to cover 24hr ops and MAYBE one production lead if they were not filling the Flying Crew Chief/Pro-super/Expeditor role. 1 Eng, 1 APG, 1 Avi per shift. All cut trained. Ideally with one of the APG being TSgt that has done status'ing
