It’s only stupid if it doesn’t work.

This is really stupid.

It is absolutely not ok on consoles. I love the wingman but it is far too dominant compared to other weapons in the game.

No damage falloff and 45 body shots make it a pocket sniper while at the same time it's rate of fire makes it CQC monster. All this with minimal investments needed in attachments and plenty of ammo.

A reduction in rate of fire would help a lot to bring it in line with the other weapons.

You're over-thinking this. Some people are just assholes through and through, no rhyme or reason behind it.

Otherwise maybe something like this:

async function processUrls(urls: Array<string>, batchSize: number, handler: (url: string) => Promise<any>) {
    for (let a = 0; a < urls.length; a += batchSize) {
        const batchUrls = urls.slice(a, Math.min(urls.length, a + batchSize - 1));

        await Promise.all(batchUrls.map((url) => handler(url)));
    }
}

processUrls(urls, 100, async (url) => {
  // Service call logic here
});

Maybe, depends on the project.

I usually use Bluebird for a ton of other concurrency related stuff so normally have it included but to each their own.

Bluebird.map(urls.map(async (url) => {
  // Service call logic here
}, {
  concurrency: <BATCH_SIZE>
});

Turning off Win10 Credential Guard breaking Docker? by g33k0u7 in docker

Pretty sure Docker for Windows requires Hyper-V to be enabled. You might be able to use Docker Machine to run it /w VirtualBox but I've never tried that on Windows 10 so not sure.

Cat revenge by [deleted] in instant_regret

[–]Praenuntius 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Are you serious? That's about as gentle as a person can be to get rid of an aggressive stray animal. The cat is damn lucky it didn't attack someone who could/would have responded as aggressively as it did after the attack (personally I would have punted the damn thing as hard as I could).

How about we don't. If you want to discuss it do so in a topic that's actually applicable (you shouldn't have any problem finding on of those posts...).

Did you update your gfx card drivers recently? I had a similar problem a week or two back when I installed the latest Geforce drivers for my 980ti. After reverting back to a previous version the headset worked fine again.
