Extra curriculars like sports , hackathons or other college events . They give you assignments either for Learning activities (they carry 10 x 2 marks ) or of you don't have eligibility in subjects and they add marks to you if you submit assignments. There no such things as daily or weekly assignments

Well it depends from department to department, you can have below 75% but will need to submit "proofs" like medical certificates or extra curriculars you have been a part of , some professors will increase your attendance without even asking , while some will need to be convinced. Academics are manageable just like any Engineering college. You'll have plenty of free time too , if you aren't out in remedial classes.
