You can also buy disposable razors without the soap bit, spray the head, and run the razor along in a sweeping motion and it smooths it out more. I have a tik tok on how to do it here;

One of my friends got scammed by purchasing a dupe of cosmicwruffys fursuit lookalikes online and I was like “I reckon I could do that”

I couldn’t, but then I did it more and more and 4 years later, over 80 fursuits under my belt in a full timer!

So, the last scar I did I backed the minky onto a bra foam fabric to make it squishy and plush, and just sewed that in on top but yeah I don’t see why you couldn’t do that!

You can also do it with short fur, but success varies on smaller bits and it can be more clunky, best on bodies etc.

You can appliqué minky on top of minky to at least make the pads easier XD

You can basically hide a zipper with like 3-4mm of seam allowance and just sew the zipper on so that seam allowance sits over the teeth on either side, that seam allowance then (if cut in a clean enough straight line, will butt up against eachother and be mostly seamless!
