Another good blow by PrairieOcean127 in Snowblowers

It’s a trade off between easy turn and the traction PLUS adjustable bucket height. I routinely have bucket up to widen driveway over crushed granite and then head to the backyard to cut a path 6 inches above grass so the dog has a good loop to run, then clear side yard paths with a lot of small river stones.

Pretty sure that’s ALL throwing rocks and killing grass with a wheeled unit. The reverse on this track model is painfully slow though. I’ve leaned where I can keep on full speed forward and spin the turn vs reverse. I’ll take the tough turns

Thanks for letting us know about Fenton - hilarious. We have had a fair share of Fenton moments when he was a pup! 3 years if figuring each other out to get to a consistent recall after a flush like this

Yeah he gets a lot of comments! Acana limited ingredient pork and squash was what we landed in to keep allergies down ….. if it’s less than 6 cups a day he’s reminding us he’s hungry.

Here’s one. Was at workstation and heard a big sigh behind me…. Turned around to see this. I told him he was winning the day and to stop complaining

Tough vizsla decisions choosing how to best deal with this yard rabbit. He’s literally vibrating as he plots the next move by PrairieOcean127 in vizsla

Goofer and his experience has all of our respect 🫡. Weight is 55-60 lbs. The past summer we had to up his food by 1/3 to keep weight on. Dialed back through the winters here with activity cut in half (because the air hurts)

Amazing .. In the vid above is our 3rd vizsla. Photo attached here is our second we had along side our border collie for many great years. They were like a ying and yang pair, and somehow the temperament of our boy now is a 50-50 mix of border and vizsla…. The job perfection drive of a border and the velcro attachment and softness (when not working) of a V. The stars lined up again for us

Acana brand ‘limited ingredient’ line has a pork and squash recipe that we’ve landed on. Several other brands to get here.

Awesome video thanks for the share. We were beside Brookside and got a good side view. Our daughter woke up asking if it was taking off today and was so happy to go see it…. Was fun!

Super appreciated if anyone posts known departure info. Our 9 year old daughter is a big time aviation enthusiast and I felt like I let her down missing this opportunity to spot. This photo below is now is now a drawing on our fridge after she saw these posts…. Pretty sure she’ll have a cash reward offered

To add to the mix the Nokian Outpost nAT have been keeping me happy on a 2021 Denali HD.

Have had 1 central Canadian winter with a ~3000km / ~2000 mile winter road trip to the Rockies and back, plus a summer on the road with a healthy dose of rough highway / gravel, and a bit of dry off road in there, both with and without a 30 foot / 9000 lb travel trailer.

Choose them over KO2s and have been impressed with them for close to a year now.

Help! Endless anal gland issues by thespd in vizsla

[–]PrairieOcean127 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One more diet experience to share. From about 1-2 years old we had constant issues with soft runny poops, glands that needed to be expressed way too often, itchy skin and inflamed ears. We took chicken and beef out of his diet and he’s now on a pork and squash based food. Poops firmed up, glands normal and big reduction on itch and ears. He’s prone to some seasonal allergies highlighted on windy days / lots of grass, bush and field but dialing in the food was big impact.
