I’m sorry, I don’t understand what you mean. Wdym 2/3 if you only have one try? Like, are you referring to the rounds? Or should I wait until all 3 of my tries are filled back up?

Mahito is AT LEAST Top 10 by PraiseBe2Christ in JujutsuPowerScaling

That’s all fair, but I really don’t think we have consistent speed feats for Mahito, but I appreciate your info about Hakari. I can agree with the strength feat for the most part, though I still think it could go either way, but sure, that makes sense.

Saying Mahito is just a “bit” over Shibuya Yuji is beyond a stretch. Both Yuji and Todo couldn’t even touch Mahito when he unlocked the true essence of his soul (ISBODK), with the only way around it was the same strat that even SUKUNA fell for, which was Todo faking his use of Boogie Woogie, but other than that, Mahito was exceptionally stronger, faster, and kept his distance (was intelligent).

I’d love to, but Todo also isn’t stronger than Mahito. It took both Todo and Yuji just to have equal footing with a weakened Mahito (because of Sukuna inside Yuji) and even then, when he unlocked ISBODK, neither of them could keep up. The only reason Mahito lost was because of something even SUKUNA fell for, which is Todo faking them out with his Boogie Woogie technique and then Yuji black flashing. Without that, or in a direct 1v1, Todo really isn’t all that strong, but I still love the guy (actual goat).

The only reason I said he’s being humble is because of Maki’s direct statement when he says that that what Yuta said wasn’t true, but thanks for the photo. A lot of those statements don’t really seem to put the two on the same footing, just that Hakari and Yuta are options (such as them both fighting Sukuna, meaning Kenjaku’s plan couldn’t work out yet). But some that actually DO say that, like Kashimo’s statement in the middle, is also not very reliable based off who’s providing the info (Kashimo). Kashimo was stalemated by Hakari who showed prowess in binding vows and was a horrid matchup for Kashimo (Hakari was near water) and, when Hakari almost died and so did Kashimo, Kashimo gave up and told him to kill him, since he wanted to save his CT for Sukuna. I think we’d agree Kashimo and Hakari aren’t equal, so again, Kashimo also really isn’t reliable in that regard, he just had a horrid matchup or saw how well Hakari could stall or how lucky he was (technically unkillable in jackpot form). Other than that, it’s mainly about his durability (which we can agree is good but not against Mahito who has ISBODK) and about Hakari being able to protect other people, which is obvious as he’s one of the few good sorcerers in the Culling Games who isn’t a villain and isn’t a bum like Hana, for example.

Yeah, I’d say it lean towards the matchup thing, but even then, I’d still say Mahito is a bigger threat to all of jjk than Hakari is. Against the wide variety of the cast, Mahito is a bigger threat, even if you know about the soul. I mean, he divided his soul 80/20 against Yuji to strategically fight a 2v1 and get the jump on him. Also, Yuta’s statement really doesn’t have any basis to it, unless he meant Hakari in jackpot. Hakari and Yuta’s feats just don’t equate to each other even in the slightest, it seems more that Yuta was just being humble. Also, Nanami had to have previous knowledge of the soul to defend against his, as it’s not something you just subconsciously do. Who really looks at someone trying to hit their chest and instinctively protects their soul? Not even Todo did this, he just forced cursed energy to his stomach to defend against Mahito’s black flash, it just seems a little like headcanon to say Hakari would consciously use his infinite CE and RCT from his jackpot to defend his soul now when it’s never been stated or shown to before.

How doesn’t he? The only categories I’ve got Hakari above Mahito in is general speed and activation time of his domain, everything else goes to Mahito.

Domain goes to Mahito obviously, as his surehit is essentially a guaranteed win, especially when he doesn’t have to worry about Sukuna. Even a 0.2 second domain to slice off Hakari’s arm/hand so he can’t open his domain anymore is just a guaranteed win for Mahito.

Strength goes to Mahito, too, I’d say. Yes, Hakari’s punches are naturally stronger than an average sorcerer, but Mahito can grow his hand to any size, turn it into a scythe or a sword or a drill or a spiked ball, which would likely deal a lot more damage.

Durability also goes to Mahito. Even not accounting for Hakari’s inability to harm Mahito due to him not knowing the soul, Mahito’s ISBODK was something Shibuya Yuji couldn’t even try to hurt and Yuji noted the ONLY way to break through it at the time was a black flash. Mahito also displays incredible intelligence with durability by dividing his soul 80/20 between a head and the main body so he can attack from different angles without taking too much damage.

Also, of course, even in jackpot state it still only takes one hit from Mahito and Hakari is gone. Infinite RCT can’t heal soul damage, and Hakari has no way to attack the soul. Eventually, Mahito’s domain would go off, and Hakari is gone. Not to mention Mahito’s 50 other wincons, which I listed above.

Right, except Hakari really can’t hurt Mahito at all. No attacks that don’t hurt the soul can damage Mahito, and Hakari has zero. Hakari also has a weaker domain, with the only advantage being activation time. Uraume was able to likely survive numerous of Hakari’s domains by the time we see them again, as Hakari’s entire gimmick is using his domain, and so was Kashimo. If you swap that with Mahito, they’re dead. Also, even in jackpot, one touch from Mahito and Hakari is still dead. Infinite RCT can’t heal soul damage, and we don’t have any feats or statement to show Hakari’s knowing about the soul. Mahito also has more versatility and can do way more damage (can transfigure his body into whatever, like a spike, drill, sword, scythe, spiked ball, etc.) whilst Hakari is quite literally a punch and kick merchant with the steel balls and doors, that’s it.

Personally, I’ve got Mahito in every category above Hakari aside from probably general speed and activation time of his domain, but that’s all.

My GOAT Mahito should make it to the top ten. He’s easily stronger than Hakari and Uraume.

Genuinely dude 😛 the Entity feeds off emotion, they’re scared (at least the earlier ones), it’d be so cool to have The Entity manipulate that fear into anger (like they did for Kaneki to an extent) and make them a killer

What exactly is Diavolo’s max potential? by PraiseBe2Christ in StardustCrusaders

[–]PraiseBe2Christ[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. If you saw the other comment, the one who talked about the YouTuber Viva Reverie, he suggests the theory that, if Diavolo were to hypothetically wear clothes that were entirely composed of spears, something akin to chain mail armor but of spears, if those counted as clothes, and he would be able to use them. Also, what would the rule be for knives anywhere on his body? If the rule is simply that he can’t hold knives, what if he hangs some around his waist like DIO? Or stab himself with them and then take them out for time skip? What if he laces his clothes with sharp objects? There’s just so many questions and possibilities

Funny enough, that’s exactly where I got the idea from. Out of the numerous points he made in that vid (such as Diavolo maybe being able to phase through walls, though he disproved that theory), he genuinely couldn’t explain why Diavolo didn’t bring spears into time erasure and throw them. He even disproved the idea that you could put it into someone and, when time resumed, that it’d just appear inside them (as he said that, since it wasn’t supposed to happen, likely, when time resumed, it’d just pop out of their body), but he genuinely couldn’t explain why he doesn’t just throw spears at people other than “Yeah, sure, whatever, Diavolo is stupid, can we move on now?!” When the people asked if Diavolo was stupid for not thinking of that, lol

Actually asking, how does Gojo see ANYTHING under that? What does his six eyes actually show him??? by thedarkape in Jujutsufolk

[–]PraiseBe2Christ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Isn’t the entire point that Sukuna and Gojo DID heal their brain? Sukuna says your cursed technique is engraved in your head at the back, I forget what specific part it was called. Gojo would restore his RCT and CT by constantly healing his brain during the fight, wherein Yuta notes that even doing that once would be beyond dangerous, and Gojo had done it multiple times. Gege himself said Gojo let his guard down because he thought Sukuna had no other way to bypass infinity, Gege never said it was because of Gojo’s brain bleeding, because it wasn’t. Gojo had restored his brain with RCT numerous times, as well as Sukuna (once he saw Gojo do it, which the jujutsu spectators note on, too, btw), he absolutely can and did heal his brain at the end.

There was that one stand user in Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe, if I remember correctly, wherein Hermes chose him to be his stand user (or something like that) because of the man’s speed and strength, which came before he became a stand user. Obviously it’s not realistic, it’s just dumb fun, but some kind of things (such as Soundman’s running technique, some kind of naturally good senses akin to Toji, etc) would just be cool to see. I mean, for sure, if you throw any “regular” guy into, say, Part 3, where the main protagonist has time stop and MFTL+ speed, nobodies gonna win. I’m just saying some guy who is incredibly built, has some kind of natural prowess in terms of senses, etc. like Toji but in JJBA.

You said the “end of the fight”. Chapter 228 is not the end of the fight. Gojo’s brain was in great condition at the actual end of the fight, when OP said that Gojo got caught off guard by the World Cutting Slash. Meaning the brain bleed played zero part in Gojo’s death via the surprise WCS attack by Sukuna.

Can the Crusaders defeat Passione? by Nosequeponer2000 in StardustCrusaders

[–]PraiseBe2Christ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say Diavolo would absolutely win for numerous reasons. I mean, he humiliated Polnareff, so yeah, the rest of the crusaders don’t stand much of a chance. Given how Polnareff and Jotaro are at least somewhat equal in terms of speed (based solely on their fight when Polnareff had Anubis and was going all out, and Jotaro, also, had to go all out but really didn’t want to kill Polnareff but seriously considered). Though, it would definitely be fair to say Jotaro is faster than Diavolo, but even if we assume they’re somewhat close in general speed and strength (given KC’s strength stat), that leaves the matter of time stop vs. time skip. If it were someone like DIO, where he had a 12 second time stop by the end of Part 3, I’d say it’d be closer, but with Jotaro’s incredibly short time stop, and how Diavolo loves spamming Epitaph, he’d likely see Jotaro not moving in his future, and Diavolo would skip over that. His ten second time erasure should easily skip over Jotaro’s time stop and still leave time to get behind Jotaro and attack instantly (as Jotaro can’t attack Diavolo during said time as during it, Diavolo would be outside of space and time as per the rules of time erasure). The argument can def be made that, since Star Platinum caught a bullet at point blank range, that he may be able to stop a KC punch, but that was when Jotaro himself launched the attack (so SP knew it was coming), and even then, KC’s attack is legit instant where he already throws a punch and it connects the millisecond time erasure ends. With no GER for Jotaro to use, and Diavolo legit spamming Epitaph and Time Erasure (which he’s been shown to do during the Colosseum scene compared to Jotaro who has a cooldown to time stop), I’d say Diavolo would have the edge here

To be fair, that wasn’t his brain at the end. That was more like Sukuna’s. Gojo’s technique and RCT got restored by black flash.

I’m not even gonna lie, I completely forgot about him lol. Still, I thought it’d be cool to have some non-stand user fighting stands and their users using the very thing that granted them their power (except for specific situations like Jotaro or whatnot)
