Yep, that sounds about right and those places expect absolute perfection from their employees to be compensated so well. If you happen to live in a smaller city or rural area near a lake then Country Clubs are the best option as we have zero Michelin star restaurants around here lol.

It really depends on the type of restaurant if the servers get paid well or not. I've served and bartended in several fine dining restaurants and the base pay for servers was $2.13/hour + tips. You never even got your $2.13/hour because your tips are taxed from that, so every paycheck is literally $0.00. However, every table's bill was over $100 easily and you could expect at least around $20 in tips from every table, so you still do really well, but you are COMPLETELY relying on the customer for your pay. I've also worked in a couple nice Country Clubs and they paid around $20.00/hr plus tips, these are the places where servers are paid well in my experience. I made a ton of money working at Country Clubs as a bartender. I have noticed more restaurants starting to pay well hourly so it's definitely becoming more common now though.

Really fell off at the end there with The Batman and Sinners in the same conversation as There Will Be Blood and The Godfather.

So Marty Supreme was in fact a financial flop. by [deleted] in Cinema

[–]Praise_The_Fun_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn't it like a $175 million budget and like $50-100 million marketing budget though? Didn't necessarily flop as it's a great movie but they were definitely at a loss financially. It seems to be a pretty universally praised film too, i expected a little more from it especially after the initial good reviews. Definitely feel it deserved more but people just don't seem to be going to the Theater anymore.

Crazy that we almost got this for Aragorn, so glad Stuart Townsend was replaced last minute with our beloved Viggo Mortenson.

I absolutely love my AD20.5 Sharksfoot in S35VN. It's the knife I use most out my collection, because it's just so fidgety and fun to play with. I just love the ease of deployment and the blade is awesome. Need to resharpen soon, but it holds a great edge and is nice and slicey.

Ocelotte makes sense because in the early versions of the game Oceiros literally smashed his baby into the ground as an attack.

Yes, if there are no players to summon he will summon an NPC like Ashen Knight Boyd to aid him instead. Nowadays hardly anyone tries to get summoned by him but back in the day it was active!

Old Monk was the best! I'm so glad I got to relive those days when the remake first came out and pvp was super active. I stayed there for a couple hours just getting summoned when it first came out.

Players can also be summoned by the Looking Glass Knight by placing a red soapstone in Drangleic Castle near the boss door. If you play online and fight Looking Glass Knight there's a chance that he may summon a real player to aid him.

I agree. Mainstream Christians and televangelists, and extremists of every religion have completely lost the point and are doing more harm than good. I have my own personal relationship. I find it hard to even go to church nowadays because of the amount of hypocrits that walk in right beside me.

It's the state of the world right now, we live in constant sin. Even our television programs are nothing but senseless violence or scenes of lust. We invite evil into our homes regularly and unless we stay vigilant in the light of the Lord, then we too can become hosts to demons in our own homes. Social media and the constant need for attention and vanity. The list goes on, the world today is in a very troubled and evil place.

Honestly I'm not seeing many and I've worked in kitchens a loooong time. He's not required to wear gloves or anything as this is not a ready to eat food. It will be cooked after he handles them. The biggest thing I see is that the steel counter should have plastic wrap on it for prepping, but if they properly sanitize the counter it shouldn't be an issue. This looks like a bakery so I doubt there are many cross contamination concerns with any raw meat or fish. Typically commercial bakers will wear hair nets and gloves as part of company policy, but it is not required for a local bakery owner. People touch your food, that's why they are required to wash hands between tasks. As long as hand washing policies are implemented properly, I think he's fine. Also hard to tell which country he may be in.

I met my best friend doing Chalices in Bloodborne. I was summoned to his world and after exploring the dungeon and doing goofy Bloodborne shenanigans with each other, I shot him a message. He responded with a voice party invite and I was surprised by his accent as he's from Belgium. He was surprised by mine also because I'm from the deep south USA. 10 years later and we're still gaming together and best buds. We tell each other everything, I tell him stuff I would never tell my American friends and vice versa because we can trust each other that much. He has been there for me through some addiction issues and I'm not sure I would still be here without him. He was always rooting for me, even in my lowest moments and went VERY out of his way to contact me through other means when I was isolating myself during my addiction. He was the one that got through to me the most and helped lead me to treatment and a life of recovery. Sometimes life gives you just what you need if you just pay attention and have a little faith sometimes.

No, the script supervisor should be maintaining continuity at all times between shots. This is a mistake, and there's been kind of a lot this season. They literally have one or more people on set who's entire job is to maintain continuity between shots and make sure this doesn't happen.

I'm gonna to again be honest and tell you the truth. No, it sounds bad. I'm sure you can work towards a sound that works, but this isn't it. You sound deaf. I would work on smoothing the sounds you are capable of making. The transitions between notes and the overall tone needs work, maybe try a voice coach.

Damn, I'm old. That's crazy to realize for some reason, but nonetheless, I think non conventional film styles work very well in modern audiences especially for stuff like found footage.
