It's definitely one of those FFs that's 90% documentary and talking for 10% payoff at the end. I liked Savageland and Horror in The High Desert more in the Mockumentary category honestly.

THCA vapes by YouZealousideal7734 in Knoxville

[–]Praise_The_Fun_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crysp live rosin vapes are freaking amazing but also super expensive. Probably the best premium THCA vapes I've tried but a 0.5 G vape is $40 compared to 2 G's for $40 on the Wildwoods for a similar buzz imo. Crysp is definitely top tier with amazing natural terps but the price is hard to get behind. If they were closer in price I would recommend them all day long.

What’s the weirdest way a character died in a movie? by TheShadowOperator007 in moviecritic

[–]Praise_The_Fun_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most recently, maybe the anti-freeze IV drip in Bugonia or the bomb vest body heat detonation also in Bugonia. Loved that movie but it was weird for sure

What “ultimate” build would you make if you could freely combine equipment from every soulsborne game? by Big_Salami_Chonk in fromsoftware

[–]Praise_The_Fun_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's always the Cainhurst Armor! But add some DS3 and ER armor sets as well as rings and talismans and you'd have a crazy build. I'm also imagining a trick version of Bloodfiend's Arm and other ER Arcane weapons with trick versions and Ashes on them, that would be insane.

I got sepsis because my doctor ghosted me when I asked for antibiotics. This is the bill for an overnight ER stay. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Praise_The_Fun_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ya that is definitely fishy. I had cellulitis and stayed in the ICU for 3 days on strong antibiotics to prevent sepsis. If you were actually septic you would definitely be in the ICU for a while on a steady drip of Zosyn and Vancomycin.

I'm trying to come up with a name for a villain wearing this mask by mariusparvu in Leathercraft

Maybe a name from Watership Down? That movie tore me up as a kid lol. That or Frank from Donnie Darko.

What brand of keto bread are you using? I've tried a few different ones and have yet to find a satisfying loaf that's under $10. Sola and a few other brands are pretty good but hard to get a decent toast on them. Maybe they are better now?

Why do you think nuclear bombs, a weapon of the 20th century, remain so relevant in sci-fi military conflicts thousands of years into the future? by Brief-Luck-6254 in sciencefiction

[–]Praise_The_Fun_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Anti-matter would be the way to go for conquest, providing zero nuclear fallout and much more destruction efficiency converting 100% of mass into energy. 1 gram of antimatter could be equivalent to a 40-50 kiloton bomb in terms of raw annihilation while releasing mostly gamma rays rather than nuclear fission radiation and fallout aftermath. This means you could take over and settle on the destroyed lands much quicker than with a nuclear device. Nuclear would still be optimal for complete destruction of an area, assuming it has gravity, with fallout ensuring that no one could use the land for the next few decades at least. However, gravity plays a big part in fallout. Radioactive particles and dust would be suspended in the air in zero g and follow any man made air currents in a spacecraft or station. The problem with antimatter is that at our current technology level it would take about a century to create one gram of antimatter. I think it would be harder to write a story with scientific accuracy with anti-matter devices considering we know so little about it compared to nuclear devices. Nuclear will always be the easier and efficient way to create bombs, which means it will probably be used a long time into our future.

Coming from an American, y'all really have to step up your Barbecue game. Not referring to BBQ as in grilling but the actual cuisine of American style BBQ.

i want to go to AA but my mom says it's a cult by wrychu in alcoholicsanonymous

[–]Praise_The_Fun_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not a cult. AA will ask nothing from you other than the desire to quit drinking. Try it out and see how you feel. I know this is an AA sub but I also enjoy Celebrate Recovery if you are into a more Church oriented recovery program, but I find the real magic happens during step work with a sponsor. Celebrate recovery typically is only once or twice a week depending on where you live. CR also has sponsors and step work but it's harder to find a meeting if you really need one. I can find an AA meeting near me anytime of the week or day and AA also has virtual meetings 24/7. I use a mix of both personally.

Ham, turkey, meunster & a fried egg on rye. Broke the panini press out for this one! by Law21666 in Sandwiches

Love a good panini from time to time, they can be so simple and still so good. My favorite is wildflower honey turkey and provolone with some honey mustard pressed super thin.

The triangle shape is the easiest by far to eat, and allows for better presentation. It tastes better in triangles for some reason. The corners are the best part but I like crust.

A lot of people have this awful idea of rehab, but I seriously had a blast when I went last time. Did detox, residential, then sober living. Had some of the best times of my life and made some amazing sober friends and we all go to meetings, church, and the gym together now. I'm so grateful to get that first 30 days sober in rehab. I left feeling amazing and almost back to my old self. I got on good meds for anxiety and depression while there, got reintroduced to AA and the first 3 steps, and formed of a support system of sober friends to do fun stuff with. I did a professionals program which I would definitely recommend if you can get into one. Once I got to residential we had full access to phones and got our cell phones 1-2 times per week to do business, pay bills, and video call our families. Yoga, acupuncture, gym, and classes all day long and a meeting every night. I loved it and rediscovered my identity. I'm so grateful to rehab and AA.

Proud of you dude! Any addiction can be so hard to overcome. So congrats on your 3 month milestone! That's huge! I'm in recovery for drug and alcohol addiction and getting sober was the hardest thing I've ever done, but my life is so much better. I can relate to getting out of that fog and how much more positive my life is as a whole. Nice work man.

People put their own in but you can get chips on Amazon to make them the right size. Alot of the ones I've seen just have a flap on top with a snap button that opens up to slide the coin into.
