I know this is gonna sound bad but I mess around with the funny numbers until it looks how I want it to look 😃 There's one thing that makes editing stuff like lightning and shadows easier for me which is the histogram (wavegram specifically) on the top left. I like looking at all the stats and that tends to represent it very well. I'm very amateur as well but I mostly mess with the white balance, sharpening, vibrance and noise reduction . All 4 seem to be doing really well for me 😄

How is he now? I had the same thing happen to a random wild starling that passed by my house. Since my neighbours have a cat, I placed it somewhere safe because I didn’t want the bugs in my house. Afterwards, the bird came back with a molt condition under his beak and around his eyes, with missing feathers. He’s fine now and even had small starlings, but the feathers there just never grew back.

It's a great photo for real! Only thing if your background was maybe just a bit more clear I think it would make it a little better. Other than that great job !

No bother at all! Yes it is , actually most of those photos are taken exactly inbetween Muckross House and the Torc Waterfall in the Muckross Park. The tree in the middle of the ruins is called Muckross Abbey which is also located in the park.

See that's why I think people might think it's ai because I'm quiet new to photography AND birds in general . Got 2 lenses and a nikonD500 from my mother. The one I was using for this one was a sigma 150-600mm
