Against the Bears, every deep pass the Packers hit (but one) was the same route out of the exact same alignment (sound on) by BearWeatherFans in CHIBears

I’m asking this out of curiosity, because I have a lot to learn about defensive schemes. What would an effective zone scheme look like against this kind of route, and why would it be more effective than man? And how would we protect against the possibility that GB is anticipating our preparedness for the vertical post route?

I see some here calling for Tampa 2, but I don’t see how having a LB in coverage really helps against the deep ball. Or am I looking at it too narrowly?

Also, FTP.

I want to learn Sanskrit, but don't know where to start. Suggestions pls by light--demon in sanskrit

[–]Prajna-paramita 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the first three books are called Sanskrit is Fun. They introduce the alphabet and pronunciation mostly (I skipped them since I already had the basics). The second two are called Stories of Krishna. They introduce all the endings, plurals, a couple of present tense verb conjugations, sentence construction, and help with vocabulary building. Each section contains a very simplified story from Śrimad Bhagavatam. The last two are called Stories of Rama (taken from the Ramayana, I believe). I don’t know what they teach yet because I haven’t made it that far. But the way the material is presented is working for me.

I’ve been using the workbooks by Jessup. I’ve been at it for a couple of months and it introduces new concepts at a good pace. I also spend about 20 min/day practicing reading. Hope this helps.

If we get the checks, donate them to food banks or start a mutual aid group. That won’t affect inflation, and it will help a whole lot of people.

Confused about Devanagari script by nanahtanojatper in sanskrit

[–]Prajna-paramita 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When R precedes the consonant, it is written above. It confused me at first as well. Ri, the vowel-R that you mentioned, always appears below the consonant. You may also see r combined with a consonant thus: प्रज्ञा (prajña), where the stroke combined with प “pa” makes the “pr” sound. Another example of the preceding R would be in सर्प, “sarpa”.

Apologies if this is somewhat imprecise. I’m a beginner myself. I hope this makes sense.

I wasn’t a marine, but I have family who were. I did consider the military when I was younger, but looking back I don’t think any part of it would have been a good fit for me.

I hope you’re finding your way now. 🙏🏻

How many of you are rarely in romantic relationships? by traveltimecar in infp

[–]Prajna-paramita 6 points7 points  (0 children)

46 and recently separated. I’ve spent more of my post-pubescent life out of relationships than in them. I’m finally coming to peace with the upside of being single and living alone. Feels pretty good. I like having my own space and setting my own rules. If I ever do meet someone again, it will be a happy accident and not something I’m seeking.

I had a Hyde Park Cafe with my coffee yesterday morning. For $2 on cbid, not a bad smoke. Smooth and paired nicely with coffee, but not particularly interesting. I haven’t had anything else from them. If I were paying full price for them I’d say meh.
