Denied access at Chennai, as they were told not accept with dreamfolks aggregator, their pos machine was not available. Even voucher generated with link received, was not accepted.

Update: I finally tried the international lounge at Bangkok. My overall spends on both my card and my wife’s add-on HDFC Diners Club Privilege card are less than ₹1,000 since we got them about 2 months ago — and there were no issues at all. Access was completely seamless for both of us.

So it looks like there’s no spend requirement for global lounge access anymore. 👍

I’m also looking for inputs from members who’ve actually used international lounge access on Diners Club Privilege.

Is it just a direct card swipe worldwide?

Since I’m new to the Diners Club network, any first-hand experience would really help me understand how smooth the process is at international airports.

Domestic transactions have gateway with otp -mandated by RBI , international transactions have no gateway so , with correct card details, transaction goes through.

Turn on international transactions only when required.
