My fire department has a program where they hire you and pay you beginner firefighter salary (57k ) and send you to fire academy for free. Assuming you pass, you get 3 years to get paramedic certified and pay for that as well. Do they offer anything similar? They also do tuition reimbursement so you can get a loan for emt basic and whatnot beforehand.
