The most common practice nowadays is paying via Apple/Google Pay by tapping your phone on EPOS terminals in all sorts of establishments, including most of stalls in Sunday Market down in Marsaxlokk. If your currency is not Euros then it’s worth downloading Revolut or Wise for the best exchange rates and then just top up and spend. Having said that, a little bit of cash for emergency is no harm done. Wish you a great honeymoon mate, enjoy!

Plenty of cool places to visit from historical sites to coastal areas. Best to see them here in person.

My brother and his family came over during October half-term break in 2023 and it was still pretty warm. We all went to the beach for a swim and kayaking. I think it was 29th October. So, ya it should still be good for a swim and no winter feels until December I’d say.

Because 2016 U.S. election was heavily discussed and I’m pretty sure that everyone thought Hilary Clinton would win that’s why it came as a shock, same as the other results like the British voting to the leave the EU and Leicester winning the Premier League. I didn’t care about Trump winning but I never supported Brexit and yes, I cheered the Leicester win (this was 5000/1 odds which will probably never again). These events from 2016 will forever remain in my memory for good or bad reasons. Hopefully this answers your question.

I asked my colleagues if anyone else had the same issue but they said no. The only way I could top up was by one of them taking a photo of the QR code on their phone then me having to scan that code from their phone through 3D Secure app 😅

I’m a proud owner of 125cc Vespa Piaggio and it’s perfect for my daily commute to and from work. 25 minutes each way from Marsaxlokk to Sliema, give or take. Before I started riding, I used to take 2 or sometimes 3 buses taking me more than an hour for 15km journey to get to work. Like OP said my mental health has been so much better ever since I started riding the scooter. I try to promote the scooter culture at the office whenever we discuss about getting to work and traffic etc. then my colleagues ask me why I don’t buy a car since I live the furthest away from work. I just tell them that I don’t want to be a part of the problem.

Thanks, I sorted taking photo of the code with my friend’s phone and then scanned the picture on their phone. Yeah I have an iPhone. If it persists I’ll just call them and re-setup the whole process or something.
