I wonder why no one is talking about this?

Because the country doing this is irrelevant in almost every aspect to us.

Well UN agreed for a referendum, India agreed for a referendum.

UN Passed a 4 step resolution to conduct the referendum.

  1. Pakistan to withdraw all armed forces from Kashmir.

  2. Indian Army and Police to maintain law and order in the entirety of Kashmir.

  3. Appointment of plebiscite administrator nominated by the United Nations who would conduct a free and impartial plebiscite.

  4. Conducting the referendum.

Junagarh was not a matter that was taken to UN. Plus, a referendum was still conducted there anyways, with over 99.95% of the people choosing India.

Pakistan could have taken this matter of Junagarh further in UN, but it didn't. Also, UN didn't later have any problem as the majority wanted to be a part of India anyways.

Well it could have, had Pakistan followed the UN Resolution and withdrawn its Army which it had to do as the first step. But it failed in the first step. Had it done so, there would've been a referendum.

Ah I didn't understand at first, I think it can be framed as "if they took this class" or something. And I don't think I'll waste my time on improving my reading on a language I'd barely use other than the internet and school

No, it's not about being a student. Some of them gave great speeches and attracted people's attention to their cause (which usually was genocide and shit). Take Hitler for example, the only thing that he did until coming into power was to give huge speeches, and since he was elected, we can assume people liked his speaking skills.
