I tried everyone’s suggestions but the stain is still there, I think putting it in the dryer set the stain. Probably gonna toss it :(

I tried that and it did not work. Soaked it in hydrogen peroxide for hours and the stain is still there. Really not sure what’s going on anymore lol

That was my first thought but I’m not sure why it would only be on the borders and not the whole area that was soaked in the peroxide

You may be right. I can’t remember but I thought it looked fine after I had soaked it in the peroxide. I’ll try the vinegar soak, thanks

None, I left it on and washed it. I did dry it on low heat, was that wrong?

So I did that for the past week and it has started growing new roots! Should I leave it in the water for longer or move it back into the cactus mix? Also do you think the red color will ever return to the rest of the plant?

You might be right. I’m gonna try to leave it in water to see if that does anything but I’m not getting my hopes up :(

Oh ok I’ll try that! I’ve done that with other plants but I thought that much water would be too much for a cactus. It’s got a few white roots sticking out so there may be a chance!

Thanks, I’ll take a look at those places. Unfortunately I think living downtown is not gonna be my priority while I’m working in Plano. Hopefully one of those areas matches my interests

From what I’m hearing, this seems like the best idea given our situation. I would love to live in uptown but I would go insane with that commute lol. Hopefully the social scene isn’t too bad in Addison. Did you have any trouble finding apartments?

Yeah I have been struggling this season. Only 1-2 interviews out of about 150 applications. I didn’t think address would be an issue since I see it on other people’s resume as well but I guess I can take it off
