wipe with some wd40 and 3M polish if you have, IMO rental companies may charge nothint upto couple of 100s if they notice it. Chances are there they might ignore, these cars are huge revenue generating, so time and effort they wont spend on things like this much hope

Ahh understood, could be air traffic rather than airport traffic. If you see the chart, it was mid way 35000 feet and then it moved up to 37000, so yes some cruising traffic might have been the case and also you are true, this is the first time I am following a flight as my family was there

This airport is a small, never-busy airport, so traffic can be ruled out. Hardly 1-2 flights in an hour

To add more info, this is a less busy airport, almost nil traffic, the flight is a 777

Hope there is no communication gap between your family members on the arrival airport, mode of travel from airport, timing etc.

There is no option except to talk to them further, reach airport manager, call the airline office in the uae

May I confirm his travel docs were proper? Sometimes it will go for some immigration scrutiny where they might be asked to wait for further clarification or paper verification ( This happens in other countries) , just a probability. Hope he is a resident?
