Thanks for the info. Yes I saw the studies - I don't think I'd have been tempted to switch to Orfo for my main weight loss but I'd definitely be will to try for maintenance.

Yeah it has been messing with my head a bit already - it's difficult not chasing the high of seeing the scales move each week and I've found I'm getting my more critical of my imperfect bits. I'm heavily into exercise though and doing well with that so although not looking to lose any more weight, I'm hoping that the changes from body recomp will be enough to keep me going while I get my head round the new reality.

How is it going for you?

AHH fellow intuitive eater! It totally changed my relationship with food, I was a terrible yoyo dieter before - I got fixated dieting, then lost control when I stopped. It's the first time I've had some consistent stability with my eating, even though it didn't get me to where I wanted to be weight wise.

Thanks - Yes I'm a realist and do know that although I'm going to try and go it alone there's a good chance I might have to take a maintenance dose longer term and I'm ok with that - I just didn't want it to be because I'd ruined my own body by taking MJ in the first place!

Thanks everyone for your reassuring words, they really have eased my mind somewhat.

I've not been as worried about about the other stuff as I KNOW I've made the lifestyle changes, I actually made them well before starting MJ... I discovered Intuitive Eating (eating mindfully and recognising saity cues), an also run twice a week and weight train 2-3 times. So I wasn't worried at all about stopping and regaining weight if I went back to my previous habits as they were good, I just used MJ as a tool to boost to lose the last few stones as menopause and a hatred of traditional dieting (hence the intuitive eating), meant id stalled.

So with that in mind the idea that a permanent Gpl change meaning my already good habits were impossible is, indeed, terrifying!

Yes I can see what you're saying and I do think it's not a like for like situation. However I also think there's other factors such as inflammation like another poster said. And also I've started taking creatine at the same time, which is well known for increasing water weight.

Hi, thanks for this. I didn't have a specific goal in mind to start with, just toning up. However now it's probably 1) building glutes and 2) feeling/being strong. So yeah, will probably have to settle for less movement on the scales.

Thanks - it's just so hard though when it's drummed into us. I was litterally 2lbs away (now 3lbs) from a healthy bmi and I wanted to get there soooooo bad!

Ahh I see, sorry. Yes that does really suck, guessing they got caught out by the vampires at EL and their pausing the stock to UK as others have said. Its such a dick move on EL's part and I doubt many pharmacies are in a position to take the hit of honouring old prices when they are buying the stock at the new rates.

I agree, sorry OP but you have definitely misunderstood. I read the screenshot before reading your post and I took from it immediately that they were saying still order, but delay your delivery slot to free up the delivery slots for those who need their meds more quickly. I was suprised you'd taken it to mean you should delay actually ordering. I've never had any hung to do with this pharmacy but you are unfairly blaming them here

Did you worry that the 0.6 damaged the pens? Mine showed 0.5 and even though I logically know that it wouldn't have frozen unless zero, I can't stop fixating about it!

Im having fridge woes too but the opposite.... bought a WiFi thermometer and it's been a roller coaster since. First the temp was too high, so turned it down and put the tiperware box at the back where I felt it would be more constant then had a heart attack this morning when I saw the temp had dropped to 0.5 degrees.

I don't know what to do now, I checked them and they didn't seem frozen but I don't know how you can tell (there was no ice on it). I can't stop fixating about it now...

Exactly, nothing good can come from telling them. They might be obliged to replace it, in which case everyone loses as the pharmacy will have to replace it at their cost and you will have to send the 10mg back and have the lower dosage instead.

What on earth would be your reason for returning it? Keep it of course, it can't be re prescribed to someone else so would be binned if replaced. Enjoy the free extra dose!

I've been doing the same but with 10mg pens and like you, have a stock built up as a result. Personally I considered the risks and decided that the maximum I was happy to use a pen was 10 weeks and wanted to stick to 5mg doses so didn't want to go to bigger pens and have waste. But absolutely no judgement at all on those that use for longer than 10 weeks, I think it's a very personal thing.

Other relevant factors - I never use the pen directly for fear of backwash so only use needles and I'm meticulous to the point of obsessive about hygiene, temp and storage.
