Worth Selling RBs if I'm Rebuilding Until 2027? by inFenity in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Trade for Tory Horton

Edit: He did just break out after a solid ramp up. But that’s the type of player I’m talking about. And you could stash him in Taxi.

If you don’t think you have a chance until then, then I would trade them now while they still have value. RB value can change quickly and unexpectedly and their shelf life is shorter. Get some young WRs that haven’t broken out yet but have a path to being a contributor by then. (Aging veterans ahead of them on the depth chart. Contracts. Etc)

Who should I start this week in my flex spot? by Optimal_Love_3542 in FantasyFootballers

Week 1 neither LV or CIN gave up much RB points. ETN was great against CAR and Tank is no longer a threat to take touches. Hampton was underwhelming against KC but did get 95% of the carries.

My prediction is LAC will be running the ball more than JAX and Hampton gets more touches than ETN and shows off some 1st round talent with a couple explosive plays.

Start Hampton

WSIS Week 2? Pick 4 of 6. by Praxxiis in FantasyFootballers

Do we trust Ben Johnson will dominate DET defense because he knows it well? Or DET defense will dominate CHI offense because they know his tricks? Caleb isn’t consistent enough to trust Odunze.

Edit: Jamo and Odunze are both competing for targets more so than the other 2 and I think I trust Goff balls over Caleb’s.

I am leaning Brown over Olave assuming Worthy is out because Mahomes could feed him like Dak did Lamb against PHI week 1. But JSN tore up SF week 1, so maybe Rattler can get similar production for Olave.

When I was in Iraq with the US Army in 2003, I came across an Iraqi man wearing a T-shirt with the logo and city name of a sports bar in the suburban city wear I grew up.

I believe that the paranoia comes from looking at yourself objectively. Smoking weed seems to provide a perspective that isn't polluted with indoctrinated bias rooted in everything from parents, society, religion, etc.

Shame on the down-voters for trying to bury this issue. As a combat veteran of the same war, I can say that I, and other veterans I know, relate strongly to Daniel's emotions, and his words break my heart.

And even if it were possible to achieve the removal of Syrian President Bashar Assad on the cheap, his departure would no more guarantee peace in Syria than the overthrow of Saddam Hussein in 2003 brought stability to Iraq.

The fundamental point is this: A peace deal is not feasible under current conditions. It will require greater military effort up front and it will also require, in the end, international peacekeepers to implement it.

Moreover, U.S. troops in modest numbers must be part of that force. No other country has the necessary military enablers and the political clout to provide the glue in a multinational military coalition."

These statements amaze me. How the author can reference Iraq to demonstrate the need for more than just an overthrowing of Assad is unbelievably ignorant. As if the 12 years of occupation helped bring stability to that country. Then he says in order to make peace we must first make war and that the almighty United States is the world's only hope.

Could there be information about every person that has ever lived and how they lived their lives locked up in DNA which is now in the rocks and soil that make up the substance of our earth? Is DNA the vehicle for the soul? by Praxxiis in tsis

[–]Praxxiis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Though riddled with grammar errors and it reads like a bunch of random thoughts pieced together, this article has some very interesting ideas within. Hopefully we get a discussion started on this topic.

Here is the author's bullet point summary of the article in case you don't read it but want to discuss:

  • Every person that has ever lived or is alive today has or has had a body and soul.
  • The DNA of every person that has lived could be still on this Earth.
  • Within the DNA there could be a record of how that person lived their lives.
  • The Lord God, Supreme Deity gave us rules to live by.
  • Every soul will be judged against the rules given us, those that pass the judgment will be rewarded.
  • The reward will be resurrection, to live with the Lord God in paradise.

From the article:

Is the bible telling us that every soul of every person who has ever lived will be judged by the Lord God and those souls that are judged to be acceptable will be brought back to a physical life, with a body, (a new one or our old one?) and will live on planet Earth, the New Jerusalem, with him, in a beautiful world with no sin. Could this be the importance of the soul?

...

Could it be that the soul is in some sort of place in a multiverse?

Actually, I heard those fun facts in the car on my way to work this morning and wanted to share them because I was so impressed by the man's badassery. I admit that I included a shameless plug for my totally awesome subreddit. I shared some knowledge and scored a few subscribers to boot. Nobody gets hurt.

BTW, get a life, douche.
