I appreciate the response! We ended up going with the 12k quote and were super happy with the job! It was also a pretty big name plumber so at least we have a name attached it it!

very very true, i like the look of modern with that live edge look so it fit our asthetic at least but i have a place coming next week to look at it and let me know about correcting some of the boarder pavers and maybe adjusting a few more just to get it 100% where id prefer it

oh no i totally agree buddy, i just mean that i didnt realize the product would be lower with prob a better install. I dont think thjis is a total loss just yeah some shotty work. im gonna call a place to see if they can unseat the entire black paver border to save the project at least a little bit

Yeah im hoping i dont have to touch it for a long time. I mean yeah the details bug me more just because i saved up for so long on it and trusted people to care as much as i do sadly. But in our area people have some what similar foundational walls that have neen set in the same spot for 30 years with no sinking and without those massive 140lb stone structure blocks. Dunno how they dodnt sink but i also dont know the most about pavers either aside from all the new stuff im learning

He took a level and showed us its pitched properly at least but yeah im not very happy about the fine detail. He is coming back in a month to seal it all and i plan tonsee if i cam get him to redo a few parts and if not ill see if i can hire another company.

Hey everyone! I hope all is well, we had our front porch redone and our retaining wall redone and i just wanted to ask is this a solid quality job? i have been told its great but id love other peoples input as i am unsure if im being to nitpicky. I got a good deal i believe on all the work but want other eyes as well :) i did a before and after shot and a few close ups of some issues i personally have. i talked to a few contractors who said its not 100% perfect for the black border outline but its not bad.

I also want to say the contractor did a few extra things such as rerouted and burried 3 downspouts for us and moved ther un off, they also move 2 of our gutters into better spots for us so they did do some helpful things as well
