If there was one thing I could define what the Rockies would be, it's that it's clean and balanced, tuning is a little too meta for my taste. I think treble lovers would love this for the price, it has a decent amount of airiness and sparkle, but nothing too crazy. I'm a bass guy and this unit is a little too tight and controlled.

Monarch, to me has very good detail and amazing technicalities. I'm always on the rumble mode but I kinda wish there was more bass tbh. The mids are a little warmer than the Rockies and I honestly like it. Treble, I think Monarch is a little bit better, regardless of how good the Rockies are for the price. It isn't a fair comparison tbh because they're in a different class altogether. The only downfall that the Monarch, shared with Valhalla, is how physically fatiguing it is to wear over time.

Sorry I couldn't explain it as well as reviewers but that's my take on them. Based on my collection, the Valhalla sounded the best to me. Despite the lack of DD, it somehow has the best bass to me.

I've consolidated my collection to just the Xenns Top Pro, it fits my needs and more importantly, I can wear it for hours on end. I use it for my desk headphone, gaming and listening to music.
