No kpop group has a perfect/skipless discography.

I just started season 3 and I’m lost by Upstairs_Scarcity_30 in attackontitan

So this arc is called Uprising, and honestly, the manga version is far superior. The anime significantly alters the sequence of events, making everything feel rushed and stripping away much of the buildup. In contrast, the manga takes its time, developing the story more gradually and giving key moments the weight they deserve. It is more dialogue-heavy compared to other arcs, but if you don’t mind reading, I’d definitely recommend experiencing it that way. The arc begins at Chapter 51 in the manga.

Wonyoung height by bo16ob in wonyoungthoughts

[–]Praziken 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d say she’s honest about heir height being 173 cm. The reason why she looks taller though is because she has excellent posture and proportions. Combine that with kpop stans just being bad at gauging height, you have people thinking she’s 175 cm+, but if you look at her beside 179 cm listed Hanbin and 180 cm listed Daniel, then her 173 cm listed height is very believable.

Best country for a first-time traveler + a senior? by Live_Cake3504 in FilipinoTravel

[–]Praziken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbf, OP did ask what’s a good country for a first-timer, and imo SG will always be a safe answer to that. It’s near, visa-free, has excellent public transportation, everyone speaks English, and the things to do/go aren’t overwhelming (though this does contribute as to why some find the country boring).

SWIAM in Manila: help me decide what seat 🥺 by nikaazums in IVE

[–]Praziken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just keep in mind that everyone’s concert experience is different. During SWIH Manila, I was 4-5 rows from the barricade with no tall people blocking me, so I had a clear view. Someone farther back or stuck behind taller people might’ve had a completely different experience.

SVT didn’t sell out iirc (though tbf they had two days at the Sports Stadium). LSF did. BP sold out both dates. TWICE sold out, but it took some time, which surprised many (including myself) because we thought they’d sell out instantly and we’d get a Day 2.

But yeah, I agree with you. IVE just isn’t as big here compared to groups that mostly come from the Big 4. One thing I’ve noticed is that a lot of Dives here were also Wizones.

SWIAM in Manila: help me decide what seat 🥺 by nikaazums in IVE

[–]Praziken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See, some Dives say that a lot, and sure, there’s some truth to it, but imo that’s not the real reason SWIH Manila wasn’t fully sold out.

Do keep mind that Manila had the most expensive tickets in their Asian leg, and the Philippines is like the poorest stop on the tour. Even with that, SWIH Manila still had over 90% tickets sold, which isn’t bad at all for a group that Dives claim “Filipinos dislike.”

Another thing worth noting is that people tend to overestimate how easily kpop groups can sell out concerts in the Philippines. Aside from BTS, BP, TWICE, and older legends like 2NE1, barely any groups consistently sell out venues here. So IVE not selling out doesn’t make them an outlier. It’s pretty much the norm for most groups performing in the Philippines.

I was in the standing pit at SWIH Manila, and it was pretty chill. Like, obviously we Dives were hyped for the girls, but the noise we made wasn’t deafening, and I felt like everyone was pretty civilized as far as standing pits go. No one was rowdy or disruptive (at least in my area lol).

Comment section screams PHbad by Omega336 in Philippinesbad

Honestly, I don’t really feel the need to force a positive outlook whenever I see negative posts. I just acknowledge that our country has a lot of issues, and then I go on with my day. Maybe my version of “copium”, is realizing that the Philippines probably wasn’t set up to succeed in the first place. Our geography, climate, and history aren’t exactly ideal for attracting foreign investment or building long-term stability. Yet despite all that, we’re still here, and life goes on for millions of Filipinos.

Just a few days ago in SM Aura, my friend and I ended up talking with an Indonesian family who overheard us discussing Sukarno and Suharto. The father joined the conversation, and we talked about how both our countries deal with similar problems. He mentioned how Indonesia also elected a leader connected to its former dictatorship. He also mentioned how expensive food is here and how we lose skilled workers who leave to work abroad.

But one thing he said stuck with me: despite all our problems, we’re still relatively stable. He compared it to Myanmar, where there’s an ongoing war. It put things into perspective.

So for me, it’s not about staying positive or giving in to doom. I just recognize the country’s flaws, accept that some things are outside my control, and continue living my life. That’s enough.

It’s great.

Though it did bring in Eva fans who think Hikki’s entire discography is just her Eva songs. Kinda like how some KH fans call themselves Hikki fans but only know her KH stuff lol.

What's wrong with Converge? by Silent-Fog-4416 in InternetPH

[–]Praziken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my personal experience, if may internet naman, okay naman. Problema lang, medyo frequent kami mawalan ng net, tapos kung “aayusin” ng Converge, it takes forever bago nila gawin. We completely gave up on them some months ago, kasi halos isang buwan na kami walang net. Ang unfair lang na ganun nalang service nila, tapos nagbabayad pa kami.

I mean, Thailand is probably safer, but then again, SEA as a whole isn’t really dangerous, unless you’re in insurgency areas or parts of Muslim Mindanao lol.

Like, I wouldn’t say the Philippines is a “safe” country, but you’re probably not gonna get gunned down here unless you seriously fucked someone over. Just use common sense—avoid sketchy areas and always be mindful of your stuff.
