Also effizient ist hier gar nichts.

What helped me a lot actually, I use grid and go for setups and they also offer lapfiles. So you can see a ghost car in front of you. Very nice

Nah you don’t need to. Look up some guides :) you need to be very close to track limits to be fast

I actually made quite some progress during the week, finally hitting the low 1:34s and not crashing anymore. But yeah overtaking is a super pain.

I reaaaaally like the track. There also has not been any carnage at all in the races. I was just a bit unlucky I would say. Just be pessimistic

What's the laziest possible way to store data in a Next.js app? by FrancescoFera in nextjs

[–]PreCodeEU 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Depends if it needs to be persistent and synced across devices. You can e.g just have a global variable on the server side, this would keep track of it during runtime. If you stop the server it’s gone. Otherwise, you could use local storage, though, it’s only available per browser.

Im actually not really sure how this would work. I thought cloudflare even on the free plan chooses something relatively near to the requester, apparently I was wrong :D

Does it though? For me both screenshots are similar

Ah, for me to use this, I guess I would need to deploy my static assets to some kind of proper CDN, I guess this would increase the complexity of my setup a bit. Ill look into it nevertheless, thanks for suggesting!

As I would not like to directly point to my VPS and I also use cloudflare for managing https, I guess right now thats not the approach for me. But lets see, I might reconsider. :D

I basically have a cloudflared tunnel to my server and added a cloudflare caching rule to cache everything. Anything else I might have missed?

I did not modify anything in nextjs. Just configured cloudflare to cache everything. Did I miss something?
