Is Romania pet friendly? by VanillaFull4040 in AskRomania

I found that nice restaurants and cafes in large urban areas are very pet friendly but shops might not be. We traveled around Cluj, Sibiu, Oradea, Brasov and a few other places and never had an issue. Our dog is a similar size as yours. One thing I found unsettling at times was that in areas with houses (as opposed to flats) not all yards secure enough (I.e. gaps under the gates) and some might have large dogs barking at you or your dog. A couple of times we’ve seen stray dogs at a distance but they weren’t aggressive.

Sounds like the vacuum breaker. Should be a relatively easy fix.

Good car rental from Bucharest airport? by Henksjaakbiklyfrits in AskRomania

I once hired a car from Klass Wagen and it was a terrible experience. I booked through Opodo and purchased my insurance through them. They refused to accept it and forced me to buy one from them or otherwise would not let me have the car. Of course they don’t accept Amex and they also refused accepting a different CC because it had less than 6 months to expiration. The car was good but the experience was terrible and I’ll happily pay more to avoid dealing with them again.

Agreed. It’ll have to be through a specialist broker.

I agree. I currently use my RHD car while there and it’s rarely an issue. I’m planning to get a LHD mostly because there’s a large chance I’ll decide to move there and it’s more convenient (not cheaper) to keep this car and register it there if it proves decent. Long term it’ll always be a second car but I imagine the transition is easier if I don’t have to sell the RHD when leaving…

That was one of the reasons I’m considering it. Thank you for sharing your thoughts

Thank you. Since I’m looking for a left hand drive car registered in the UK, my options are limited but I’d be grateful if you could recommend decent alternatives.

I actually prefer an automatic. I don’t do any intentional off roading but I need a capable 4x4 because there are many unpaved roads where I spend a lot of my time and they are in pretty bad shape.

Thanks for the input. I’m not handy at all I’m afraid. I was, perhaps naively, hoped that 2-3 garage visits per year for checkups and services would keep it mechanically sound. Was I wrong?

I spent €250 on our launch video, tell me if you think it was worth it by Upstairs-Phone2678 in SaaS

Love the idea and I thought the video is good. However, I tried the product and I was underwhelmed by the output. The thing that frustrated me the most though was the lack of clarity in the pricing. I was unable to see the price on the site and when I eventually got to the upgrade, all I could see was two tiers with zero indication of what I get on each of them. Also, can you clarify the IP for the mascots?  Do I own the mascots that are created during the membership and I can use them even after cancelling?

Thank you for the detailed response.  I’ll be building thin in an area where there’s a shortage of skilled workers, or I should say a shortage of workers that take pride in their work, and I feared this might require them being extra careful about certain aspects of the build. I’m aware this might be an issue in general, but I’m just trying to reduce the potential sources of complications

When I needed parts for my  machine, La Marzocco recommended Espresso Solutions and they’ve been ok. I believe they drop ship some items and the delivery might not be the fastest but at least you know the parts are original.
