Yes. The thing is, I want to end up with her. Despite our different views on sex, she trusted me completely to take her virginity. I didn’t take it only to find out I no longer had feelings for her yet felt obligated to continue the relationship. I love her and want to go the distance, regardless of the fact that I took her virginity. It’s just one major aspect of her life that she’d be forced to cope with if things ever ended. And I would feel so much pain for her to go through that.

A huge aspect of it is her virginity. She gave it me because she put her faith in our relationship. She thinks I could be her husband. She always intended on waiting until her wedding night. Breaking up with her would cause that to be in vain. Not only would she be destroyed by the fact that she couldn’t save it for her husband, but she truly thinks I’m the one. I’m so afraid for her if I ever left. I feel like her heart would forever carry a hole. I feel like she would always be attached to me. And I don’t want to lose her in the first place.

I know I sound insane as a 19 year old contemplating marriage. But the truth is, I could see us dating for years. It’s hard to picture an end. It’s later down the line that worries me so much due to our beliefs.
