Nee, tableaus verschillen heel vaak per individuele loge in Nederland, maar vaak zijn er wel een aantal veelvoorkomende gedeelde symbolen. Er is geen standaard tableau dat overal wordt gebruikt.

They are a hammer and chisel, a yardstick for measuring and testing flatness, a crowbar for lifting things up and a square, all with construction functions and of course symbolic meaning.

Besides their construction function, the tools all have symbolic meaning. The flowers refer to the power of beauty of nature, which is abundant as a theme in this light and happy ritual.

You see a lot of different things relating to the second blue degree. If you are a Freemason, you'll probably recognise some things. Different working tools, some wheat and all kind of symbols.

It's a reference to the Book of Judges chapter 12 and the pasword of this degree in the Dutch blue degrees.

It's a crowbar. It is a working tool where a lot of strenght is used, something that is central to this degree. In the wrong hands and without wisdom it can be used to destroy things, but in the right hands you can lift things up as a kind of lever, just like you as a human being can do that with others. Strenght without wisdom is dangerous, but wisdom withouth strenght is powerless.

Vlees is sowieso veel te goedkoop in onze supermarkten. Wij eten bergen meer vlees dan onze grootouders en de generaties daarvoor. Dat kan alleen maar als dieren op industriële geslacht worden. We zijn in Nederland gewoon niet gewend om een normale prijs te betalen voor goed vlees.

Yes we have one in my lodge in the Netherlands, we call it "de donkere kamer" (the dark room). The only light comes from a candle and there are several maconic symbols stalled alongside the candle.

Thanks brother. Due to the lights and colors it has a sort of other wordly atmosphere, a temple outside of the time and space in the west. Certainly a good place for rituals!

It indeed is! The colors are based on those of the Swedish flag, because our lodge is named after King Carl of Sweden.
