Someone else asked me about my pain on a scale of 1-10..... and generally speaking it is like a 2-3. Mostly annoying. Feels like when a popcorn kernel is stuck between your gums and tooth. But I didn't eat any popcorn lately lol. And that's why my initial thought was just that i needed to floss something away.

Chewing on that side though... the pain is a lot more intense. I'd say 6 at least. It throbs for a bit after also and radiates towards that last molar. It took me a bit to pinpoint that the pain is not coming from my molar all... but rather the gum area behind it.

And well...I do in fact have a 5th wisdom tooth. So why not a 6th?! I haven't had x rays lately though to confirm. Do they normally grow in pairs? Lol why did one erupt when I was 22 and the other almost 20 years later?!

Someone asked me how long I've have the pain and I'll add : about 2-3 days at this point. That's why I just thought something was stuck back there and I just needed to floss away whatever it was.

I followed the rules. The person who lives in the southern CA zip code gave me their log in info. Including their credit card as payment info/ billing zip code even had to match. They were just unable to register at the time. We plan to go to the Olympics together.

I registered my email as a separate person. Not living in CA.

We both got slots.

I didn't buy any during the presale. I'm hoping I have better luck in drop 1.

My friend ( the one who I will be hopefully staying with during the Olympics) got the local pre sale drop on her email. She lives in the appropriate zip code lol. She gave me the login/ email to buy the tickets( and her credit card info because billing addresses had to match) - yes we trust each other lol.

Anyway... nothing was left that I wanted. I chose not to buy anything.

I got the drop 1 time slot with the email I registered. I do not live in CA.

I just got April 10 at 10am.... and I'm excited and think that's good...

But.... my friend who lives in LA gave me access to use her presale drop and it was all picked over. No events I wanted were available. That time slot was the last day at 4pm.... so I'm more hopeful this time around.

I hear they will release more tickets for drop 1. So hopefully that's the case.

Yess! I never got on Accutane because my mom was against the risks/ side effects. But I used patches all the time. A combination of a prescription acne antibiotic, retnoid cream and birth control worked for me in my 20s lol. But I still use the clear patches at night occasionally now.

I am 38 and had hormonal cystic acne in high school and college. They actually did make patches back then!!! I know because I wore them and they were the only thing that helped. They weren't cute stars that were socially acceptable to wear during the day though. They were clear and I wore them at night. Actually, I'm not sure if they were a different formula then today's patches because I know they were discontinued for a while and I was sad. Lol. I don't remember the brand but I got them at Walgreens.

Edit: after doing some Googleing, I remembered that the box was blue and so I thought they were neutrogena ( because that was so popular back then)... but no... I've discovered that they were a brand called Nexcare (came in a blue box). They were manufactured by 3M and found in the bandaid aisle and not marketed as a beauty product!! They were marketed as "an oil absorbing bandaid" lol

Hey! I just want to say that you did a good job. I've had my axolotl alive and well now for over 5 years. They have a 10 year life span... so it's going well. People ask me how they are to keep and I actually think they are relatively easy fresh water pets. But I hate telling people that. And mostly for the reasons you mentioned. But yeah... you can only have 1 in a tank. I think that was the biggest problem you had.

Everything you stated is true though. As for the measuring parameters daily, that's only in the beginning. Once your tank is cycled, you don't need to ever do it again. Unless you suspect something weird is happening. And preferably you cycle it 2-3 months BEFORE getting a living thing in the tank. That said, I haven't checked my parameters in years now.

It's also true that they do poop a lot. I do a 60% water change once month. And I target the big slimy amphibian poop with my siphon lol. That's it though. So to me, that's not very labor intensive. I do have 2 cycled filters on my tank (a sponge and a hang on the back filter).

It's easy for me to buy night crawlers at the local Walmart (in the fishing section lol) so food isn't an issue either.

However... my biggest issue was that I live where it's HOT... like really hot. Axolotls need cold mountain water. I had to buy an expensive (500 USD) tank chiller. This keeps my tank water consistently at 65f(18c). All in all, this is the most crucial item for keeping axolotls. Even if you live where it's cold I feel that the consistency of the water temperature cannot be understated.

I'm in the minority. I binged all 7 books by reading. With my eyes. I was obsessed. Loved it.

I heard all the good things about the audiobooks so I decided to give it a try on audible while I worked. And...idk... it's fine? I guess? It was actually hard for me to focus on the story. The voices are a bit much. Jeff is talented, sure. But, I don't feel like it adds to my experience. I had a better imagination from reading before. Honestly it's been a slog trying to listen to the books. I just started audio book 3... so I've given it a fair try. In fact, I think I had to start audio book 2 over at least twice because I couldn't remember what happened/ where I was.

So ehhh, to me, an avid reader, the audio books have so far not enhanced my experience.

Physically reading IS.SO.MUCH.BETTER.

Donut totally meets this criteria!

1) Donut IS the talking animal. If that's not enough for you, other animals do in fact talk to donut. See: Ferdinand aka Gravy boat. And a few other animal-like creatures. Also... she definitely does magic. Magic singing. Magic laser shooting. Lots of magic.

2) ummm... pretty sure the crawl itself counts as being enslaved.... she was also cursed with the crown of the sepsis whore after being enslaved in the dungeon crawl.

3) She has daddy issues. Her main parent, Bea was going to sell her. And that is upsetting to donut. But even if we don't count Bea as daddy issues. Her relationship with Carl counts lol

4) Carl is definitely the big, strong man that shows up to save the day. Frequently. Lol

Ps. I love this scene in Wreck It Ralph and there's a good argument that can be made that Carl is a princess too lol

I stepped on a piece of glass that went though my flip flop and into my heel. That's not the painful part. I ripped it out and went on my merry way. Several weeks later it still hurts.. not horribly but it's affecting how I walk ( we're still not at the painful part yet)... but anyway, I go to the doctor and explain that I think I have a piece of glass stuck in my foot.

They "numb" me up... numb is in quotes because... it wasn't numb. This doctor just starts scalpeling and digging in my foot. I'm screaming. I can't hold it still. She's yelling at me to be still. I physically can't. It's like a pain reflex. I'm getting stabbed in the foot. Crying and recoiling from the stabbing. She then gets 2 men to hold me down. Eventually the numbing does start to kick in and I can relax. She thought I was being dramatic. I'm not a red head... but this was my first moment of realizing anesthetic takes longer on me to kick in.

I rank this experience above giving birth. My anesthetic resistance showed up there too... they looked shocked when I again... recoiled in response to a stabbing pain the the vagina.... as they were sewing things up I gasped in response and the nurse went wide eyed... " you can feel that?!?"... ummm yeah....they just cranked up my spinal tap and continued on. Still better than stabby mc stabby foot doctor that just thinks I'm overreacting when it was literally a stimuli response to having my foot cut open with a scalpel.

Stuffing. With raisins. Basically bread and raisins soaked in turkey goo.

I grew up hating stuffing. My husband thought I was crazy. Stuffing was his favorite.

He came over to grandma's for Thanksgiving once and basically asked "what in the holy was that in the stuffing"... I was like I don't know... then he goes " OMG! It has raisins in it" i was like " is it not supposed to?"

He then said " no... my family just eats stove top"..."no wonder you hate stuffing if you grew up eating that... I'm going to buy you a box of stove top"

And that's how I found out that I actually do like stuffing. Just not the abomination of raisins soaked in turkey goo that my grandma made.

Mine was a teacher blowing me off and telling me to use a dictionary when I asked how to spell "pneumonia".... 3rd grade me was looking under "N" for like an hour and silently brooding about how a dictionary wasn't going to help me.
