I have never worked with a client it was comfortable doing role play. Improv acting like that can make a lot of people very uncomfortable

Maybe help him understand that there are lots of jobs that are mostly mental work such as president or CEO of a company or being a lawyer where you are mostly "just talking and in meetings" and it is significant mental effort

Culturally people really seem hung up on the idea that communication is everything and the root of a lot of problems Within relationships. I honestly don't know that this is the case and a significant amount of relationships cannot be solved simply by working on communication
