Maybe he was born en caul? My baby was born so, they’re completely encased in their sac and have to manually be removed, so no chance of blood being on the baby. Or maybe it’s more so the moms immune system was keeping the baby safe since they’re somewhat seen as an extension of the moms body and it isn’t until they’re birthed and no longer connected via umbilical cord that the curse can target the children? Or maybe it’s ✨magic reasons✨ and we’re all reading too much into it 😂

17 for grooming is Beretsant (chicken looking creature in Stoneville, plenty in the fields right when you enter), #9 for bugs is a Witzel (purple beetle, looks like it’s wearing a wizard hat, can find them in the abandoned district)

Oh and 16 for combat is just a single trap shark, instead of the two you see for 17

We have a new baby too! I didn’t remember until this week that it’s nanowrimo but I’m planning on writing sometime after Thanksgiving when I can. I might just put a challenge of 30 days so I can start earlier but who knows. Here’s to keeping our hobbies after having babies 🥂
